Dated, small room, with a tiny bathroom and no tubPosted Feb 12, 2014
Location: Good location.
Not worth 150/night. Maybe $75 if that. Awful stay!!!!

The PuebloPosted Jan 10, 2014
It was like going back in time when the 1800 crossed paths with the pueblo Indians that originated from these spiritual lands. Great Location with attached rest. Doc Martins and Adobe Bar entertaining with live music.

Charming and romantic hotel right on Taos PlazaPosted Nov 28, 2013
Pros: Historic, charming, romantic
Cons: Even though, the music and the size of the room didn't bother us, it would bother some and needs to be disclosed at time of booking to avoid issues.
Location: Right on the Taos Plaza, good walking tours. Not a ton to do in Taos though, if not skiing.
Stayed in historic part of hotel above the open lobby area. Room was small, but very clean and comfortable. We stayed up to enjoy the band, but retired to our room after a few margaritas. Some would not like the face you could hear the band in the room, but it didn't bother us. Great hotel and location with nice staff. Recommend dining at Love Apple (cash only) on North side of town (get a reservation). Breakfast at Taos Diner, recommend the rellenos.

VERY ATMOSPHERIC BUT THE BEDS ARE HARDPosted Nov 17, 2013
We enjoyed staying here. The sloping floors are part of the delight and the bar and restaurant were excellent but the beds are old and hard.

Live music every night!Posted Nov 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
If I'd known they had live music every night, I never would have stayed here. The bar is the lobby, so nowhere to go to use the internet during the 3 hours of the over amplified music. Heard throughout the complex. No wifi in rooms, no breakfast nor anywhere within walking distance to get breakfast. Close to the shops if you like shopping.

The Right LocationPosted Nov 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Inn is old and funky, but charming and vibrant and clean. Close to the most of the galleries. The staff at the desk were great. We were glad to find ourselves not in the main building's rooms but in a unit directly behind. Ours was quite old. You had to duck down with low doorways. Fireplace with wood supplied. Nice. A more up date group of similar adobe style buildings behind. We suspect the rooms in the main inn building were small. The live music was great, nice bar. Didn't try the restaurant. Some good eating choices near by. We would try them again.

Convenient locationPosted Oct 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was clean for an old place. There was no Wifi in our room for the entire stay and they couldn't figure it out. Smallest cups of complimentary breakfast coffee we have ever seen at a hotel! Location is the plus because you can walk anywhere. Would probably stay somewhere else next time.
