“Great for a family”

Hotel was clean, food good and the staff very nice. Girls loved the pool area. Very large pool and spa-very nice.

I had a very good experience, here. After cheking in a room, maybe few minutes later I got a phone call from the front desk and she asked me if everything was all right with the room. Timing was awesome! People are so friendly and nice which made me go back to here if I will have a chance to revisit Taos.

We choice the Whitten because it was a cheaper than other places, and it was very accommodating for my group (college kids). Can't beat free breakfast and pool/hot tub while on a budget. Nothing fancy but just what we needed! Great showers too.

Right in the middle of several ski areas (each about 20-30 minutes drive). Rooms were large enough and had small refrigerator. Several restaurants and stores very close. Place is not fancy but has everything you need and I would definitely go back.

We booked a room at Whitten inn on a recent, spur of the moment, weekend. It was clean, quiet and a good location. After a day of shopping and eating, sharing a soak in the in-room jacuzzi was an awesome way to end the evening.

“Pleasantly surprised”

I tend to go with the national chains but I had to go with Whitten Inn because there were no other vacancies that night. I was pleasantly surprised that this motel surpassed the national chains I was accustomed to in terms of cleanliness and overall presentation. There was ample lighting in the parking lots. I have to agree with another reviewer that the breakfast area is very tight and there is spillover into the lobby area. But the fact that they had a waffle iron compensated for this. The room was very clean and spacious. It was a good bargain for the price. I think the only problem was the Wifi. I don't think I was able to get a signal in my room, if my memory serves me.
