Nice hotel, not too expensive

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: The price and the friendliness of the staff
Cons: Have more than one computer available in the lobby. We would have liked to access the internet but gave up after waiting for too long
Location: The hotel is in Taos and there is lots to do, e.g. hiking, sightseeing, shopping.
We stayed for one night and were pleased with our room and the Hotel facilities.

Old , but clean with a pleasant staff. Location was good, just outside of congested downtown area.

Dirty with poor service

Posted Feb 10, 2015
When we got to our room it was clear it hadn't been fully cleaned. There was no toilet paper any where in the room and were told we could come by the front desk for it. The toilet leaked all night and the bed was like sleeping on the floor. There were piles of trash on the side of the hotel and the staff didn't seem concerned about anything. We spent our first night in Santa fe and paid less for a room there that was wonderful. This hotel has little to offer.

Always out of something...

Posted Feb 10, 2015
They always seem to be under staffed and out of the basic items, like pool towels, coffee, breakfast...

Nice hotel, easy to find

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: the location, breakfast, people
Cons: Pool hours
Location: Near cafes and ski resorts
It was so great that I didn't have to pay in advance or leave a crazy deposit like most hotels, the people were quite friendly AND they had great coupons for skiing. The only thing I didn't like was that you had to walk outside to get access to the pool and hot tub, and the pools hours could be a little better. But it's such a small thing in comparison to the big picture. The breakfast was good and the heaters worked. Overall, very nice and affordable.

Really only one benefit.

This is a typical low-rent motel, like the kind trashy people live in. If u can expect that, like a quality inn or motel 6, then u know what to expect. I don't mean to demean them, but the maid was smoking while she cleaned the rooms and it took an act of Congress to get towels. The benefit...INDOOR HEATED POOL! If you have kids with u, it's a saving grace!
