Nice Taoyuan hotel but not that close to airport
Staff is very welcoming, Room design is good for 1 person, very tight space for 2 single beds. The frosted glass bathroom reflects light through out the entire room. Makes this tough for a couple that needs to use the facilities in the middle of the night. Shortage of bedside electrical plugs was difficult. We have stayed in several rooms over new years holiday. The hotel is a redo building in a Y shaped building with both sides facing traffic. Not for light sleepers. Even being in TaoYuan (airport city) is a misnomer because it is not actually that close. Cost to get to airport - no shuttle is NT$600 by taxi while Northern Taipei districts are NT$1000 mon a fly away express road There is a city bus to main rail station in Taipei for NT$71 across the road and decent convenience stores around.. If you can find availability, its probably easier to stay in Central (ZhongYang), Taipei Rail station, ZhongSan or NangGang districts

Everything you would expect at a Holiday Inn, plus great service. Room is small but compensated with free breakfast and the bidet in the bathroom. It also isn't sound proof, both from a traffic sense as well as the door opening/closing & corridor conversations. However it just feels like it's in the middle of no where! Well, situated amongst tyre shops and car mechanics! It's a good 20-30 minute cab ride to the HSR, and 10-20 minute to Taiyuan train station area.

TaoYuan Taiwan’s new HEI.
Hotel is modern and carved out of a very tight urban triangle. It is convenient and walkable. Close to a city bus’to central Taipei main station. Service is exceptional as staff bend over backwards to make the best of the tight space. The rooms are standard floor print for intl HEI new builds. The bathroom is completely frosted glass, so when the light comes on, everyone in the room is woken up. Not conducive to shared space. The rooms facing BOTH front streets can be noisy at night. Light sleepers should opt for very high floor. The breakfast room was overflowing an hour before cut off. Good for short stays.

Front desk customer service was excellent
Front desk ladies were excellent. They help me purchase a train ticket and went to the 7-Eleven store to purchase the ticket on my behalf.

Comfortable hotel in Taoyuan
Good hotel, location a bit far from stations but buses available. Supermarket in a 10 min walking distance, some restaurants and a mall close by. Wifi good, good size room, amenities, good shower and comfy bed. The floor may need a wet wiping, I realized only when I saw the back of the slipper. Breakfast a bit cramped area. Overall comfortable stay.

In a very local place. Very friendly and nice stuff. Would recommend to anyone! One thing is that if you need to go to Taipei, the bus is not frequent, and buses have limited seats. Also, it is not allowed to stand on the bus if the bus has no seats left, so you will need to wait until the next one, which can be a 20-30-minute wait. But I had a great experience in Taipei and Taoyuan. Polite and patient people make it a great place to visit!

The hotel is conveniently located where dinning, shopping, and massage are within walking distance. The room was clean. The wall socket allowed me to use my US appliance. The toilet was equipped with a Toto bidet. TRESemme bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap were abundantly provided. Complimentary breakfast had a great variety of Asian and western food selection. The front desk staff are friendly, professional, and their English is excellent. I had no problem communicating with them. I had an appointment on the morning of the check-out day and was afraid that I might not come back in time to check-out before the check-out time. They told me not to worry and gave me a grace period of 30-40 mins.

The staff of this property is very helpful and friendly, esp. a girl who works at the front desk called Elaine. She is knowledgeable about the area and transportation. She even made hospital appointment for me. The hotel is close to the airport and about 1 hour bus ride to the city. The property is clean and offers quality breakfast.

It's in a bit of an odd location as it's about 15-20mins from the major transport locations (Taoyuan airport, HSR Station, and the nearest subway station) but worth a visit. Very clean, friendly and pleasant stay. Breakfast was also nice though limited I guess due to my stay overlapped with the Coronavirus scare so they had to make some changes but still nice. Staff was kind enough to ask if I needed a taxi and even scheduled a time to call one for me in the morning.

It is like a real Holiday Inn on a smaller scale. If the hotel is bigger it could be rated as a 5-star hotel.

Breakfast is on the second floor. It was very good. A mix of Western and Taiwanese cuisine. Be sure to ask the attendant for steam buns. They are made to order and included with breakfast for those who want them.

Great service
I had to check out at 6:00 am in order to catch an early flight. The front desk told me I wouldn't be able to make it for breakfast when I asked to book my 6am taxi pick up. They prepared a sandwich, juice, an apple and my coffee for me. The next morning at 6am they called my room when the taxi got there, handed my breakfast bag when I checked out. This is a very nice touch.
