Friendly central place with excellent breakfast.
Very good, and good value. Central location but with free parking very nearby. Friendly, and the breakfast was exceptional for this class of hotel. Very good value.

Old World Charm
We enjoyed our overnight stay in this older, but quite charming hotel. We had not noticed that the hotel doesn't have an elevator and didn't know how we could get our luggage up three flights of stairs, but the wonderfully friendly and helpful desk clerk came to our rescue. His extra service was deeply appreciated.

Comfortable, clean hotel with very reasonable breakfast option. We had a terrace room. Only drawback is there are no hand towels. Less than 10 minute walking distance to major sites such as Saint Cecile Church and the Toulouse Lautrec museum housed in the Berbie Castle built in the 12th century.

Amazing value and incredibly service
We had just a one night stay in this vibrant & historic city - The hotel owners are friendly , professional and take great pride in their hotel. I Our recently renovated room & bathroom were small but great value for the price including a delicious & generous breakfast buffet for just 10 euros.

Pretty, well-kept hotel in a historic building. The staff is very nice and friendly. Albi city center with sightseeing and restaurants is within an easy walking distance. Street parking was easily available.

The manager was very welcoming and gave us a choice of rooms. He explained the parking (free in the nearby square). Provided a map of things to see in Albi and recommended a restaurant. Breakfast was very good with pleasant service. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Albi.

Couple Stay
Overall a nice experience. Small family owned hotel close to the old town. The owner and the staff are very attentive and ready to help with advice regarding restaurants or local places to see. It can get a little bit noisy as doors and walls are thin but it is pretty much the same all over France.

Nice hotel close to the centre of town, not too far from railway station. Room and beds comfy and clean. Good heaters and air con available. Beautiful home cooked breakfast. Incredibly helpful host with full knowledge of the best restaurants in town. Had one of the nicest meals ever on host's advice. Thanks heaps.

Fabulous place to stay in Albi
Fabulous independent hotel where the owners really care and do there upmost to ensure a great stay. The breakfast costs extra but is worth the money with all the homemade pastries.

each room has it's own theme, i appreciated the decoration for the room. the room had a nice view, windows could open and breath fresh air. it is located neat the city center, a 10m walk will get you there. would stay there again if given the opportunity to visit albi in the future.

Wonderful little hotel. Easy to get to. Close to everything. Rooms were small but comfortable. Great creperie next door. Free parking for car 1/2 block away. Patrick was awesome. Extremely helpful. Want to go back.

Basic but acceptable.
No lift here but a comfortable enough room on the second floor, away from the rather cabbage-like aromas of the lower floor. Very pleasant person at reception. Good restaurant Bistrot Auguste 3 mins away, so no need to walk back into the city centre. Not far though, so hotel is well situated.

Noisy housekeeping in the morning
Great service & I loved the decor of the hotel but shame about the noise of housekeeping at 7am each morning of big footsteps and slamming of doors. I let it go the 1st morning thinking it was one off case then it continued the following morning. Also rather devious of them to charge us for the 2 cokes in the minibar especially when it states that charges would be incurred if ordered from downstairs restaurant. Grey area I guess. Dodgy area at night. Despite this I would give thumbs up to great service from the helpful duty manager & decor of hotel but unless you sleep like a log pls bring ear plugs and a sense of humour!

Very convenient location, easy to walk into town, and close to a large free car park. Lots of fascinating pictures and artefacts round the hotel, room delightfully decorated. The air con was lovely! All in all really helped enhance our stay in Albi.

Mixed feelings!
Not easy to find, but it is in a quiet location. No complaints about the room or the breakfast. No restaurant so a 5-minute walk to find centrally-located eating places. By far the most expensive of the six similar-quality hotels I stayed in during my touring holiday. Friendly owner, however.

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel, complete with spa-bath, tea/coffee making and air conditioning. No parking (but that is normal in France) but a free Public Car Park in adjacent. The bathroom was tight for space because of the spa.bath.

Booked this for one night but stayed for two. They management were very apologetic that this meant changing rooms, but it enabled me to see more of the hotel! Each bedroom appears to be individually styled, but all with good facilities (including kettle, tea and coffee). Showers are funky disco ones! Breakfast room elegently styled, and a good selection of items. No guarded parking, but the 'free' tree shaded square is only 10 metres from the hotel entrance. The historic centre of Albi is about 10 minutes walk away, and it was easy to find open restaurants on a Sunday night.The hotel states everywhere that it has no lift, but apparently its a common complaint by people who have not read the details. A must for future trips to the area.

For A short stayin Albi this hotel is fine
Albi is a small town in the south of France near Toulouse. I thought that this hotel was very typical of what I've found elsewhere - small room, very accommodating staff etc. The room I had was nice but it had a little bit of a musty odor. The bathroom was nice and it had a fine mipultijet shower. The owner was very helpful especially directing me to the area with free parking. This hotel is a five minute walk t the main square, the church, stores and museums. Also, a great restaurant called L'epicurean is five minutes away. On Saturdaynthere is a wonderful open air market on the square right next to the hotel. I would stay here again

Great Find
This was a very nice, little, well-run hotel. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The room was very pleasant and had both character and modern fixtures and bathroom. It even had a nice little private terrasse. The location was a little out of the way from the train station, but close to a major square and close enough to walk to the Catherdal and muesum. I enjoyed my stay here and thought it was a good value.

Very helpful staff, great location
This is a small, quirky hotel in a convenient central location. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, with attentive service. Although there is no parking on-site, there is a large, free public car park 100m away at the end of the street. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
