Generally Good

Nice facility. Pleasant staff. Comfortable bed. TV a little small. I think there is something wrong with the TV system as pictures look distorted. Would go back=at the right price.

This hotel is a gem. The staff is accommodating and the rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is served on the 6th floor for a nominal charge Which also includes an early evening buffet complete with cold beverages. we would highly recommend this Sheraton.

Worst experience ever!

Posted Jan 24, 2015
Pros: We had a decent dinner.
Cons: Pretty much everything. In addition, it would be nice for them to respond well when there's a problem.
There was no heat in our room. The heater blew cold air, and it was so cold that I wore my parka to bed. In the morning, the shower did not work. When we complained to the staff at the front desk, the woman stared at me vacantly and said, "Sorry for the inconvenience." When I added that the shower didn't work, she repeated, "Sorry for the inconvenience." Seems like that must happen frequently--She was ready with a pat response. Awful night.

Pros: Price and location worked well for me on a last minute
Room was clean and fresh. Big stain on rug, could have happened too recently to have been cleaned - my only knock, really. French doors to the bathroom, set on an angle with frosted panes may make these rooms harder to share with a light sleeper but the bathroom was huge, well lit and attractively decorated. Beds were comfortable.

Convenient, Spacious Rooms, Free Local Shuttle

Posted Jan 22, 2015
I booked this room to more comfortably enjoy dinner and a show at the Tarrytown Music Hall without having to rush home on a late-night train. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and our room on the Club level was fantastic--free snacks and beverages were a big help after the show and early in the morning. We took the free shuttle downtown and got a taxi number for later, super easy. The beds were cozy, and even though the view was of the BASF parking lot, we could still see the castle on the hill. Loved the cozy lobby fireplace and had a nice lunch at the restaurant on a rainy Sunday. Definitely recommend for travelers, business or casual!

Blinking light all night

The blinking light in the room was really difficult for us. Prevented us from sleeping well.

Sheraton in Tarrytown

Posted Jan 18, 2015
We stayed at this hotel for its proximity to the Tarrytown Music Hall. Reception desk was flawless and so was the room. The best part was our decision to eat at their restaurant. It was some of the best service and food I have had in a long time. In addition, the fireplace in the lobby was very welcoming on our cold and snowy night.
