Tatra Mountains Vacations
Tatra Mountains is located some 200 miles (322 kilometers) from Warsaw, the country's capital, and about 45 miles (72 kilometers) from Krakow.
It's recommended not to limit your tour to the points of interest in Tatra Mountains because the entire region has been graced with a wealth of fascinating cities, attractions and landscapes. Dobra, 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the south, and Koscielisko, 19 miles (31 kilometers) to the northeast of Tatra Mountains are worth visiting if you're keen to explore this region further.
Zakopane, is another interesting spot to discover. It is about 17 miles (27 kilometers) from Tatra Mountains and offers a diverse range of things to see and do, including Morskie Oko, Gubalowka Market and Mount Kasprowy Wierch Ski Resort. Tatra National Park Poland, Wielka Krokiew and Jan Kasprowicz Museum are among the many other attractions here that should be high on everyone's list.
Feel as though you are going back in time while you are learning about this area. Visit one of the traditional villages for which the area is known. Spirituality is a fascinating part of every region's DNA, so visit the area's many cathedrals and other religious sites.
