Nice hotel in the center of Tbilisi

Posted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: Contemporary design, free Wi-Fi, good location with great views of the city
Cons: (1) Wish it had a sauna. (2) Could use some additional storage in the room (e.g., there were no drawers).
Location: Hotel is located in the Saburtalo district of Tbilisi, next to the Georgian Polytechnical University and Sports Palace Arena.
Nice hotel in the center of the city, and only a short cab drive away from the main drag of the city - Rustaveli Avenue. Formerly known as "Achara" or "Adjara." Contemporary design with great views of the city. Very large swimming pool, reasonably good gym, but no sauna. Adjacent to a casino. Tbilisi currently has five "big-chain hotels": two Marriotts (one of which is Courtyard and the other is Marriott Tbilisi), Sheraton Metekhi, Radisson Blue, and this Holiday Inn. On that list, this hotel would rank #4 quality-wise, and #1 in the value-for-money category.

a good hotel for business trip

Posted Jan 8, 2013
we checked out one room and left another one to be checked out after one night stay. the duty staff didn't transfer this message to her next staff so make a little bit confused when we checked out the 2 rooms together before leaving. The hotel is good but need more regulated training and processing.

Early Check in charge

Posted Nov 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hotel is OK, expensive but Tblisi is expensive for Hotels. They will charge you for an early check in, 100% before 5am and 50% before 9 am. Don't mind paying for a late check out but being charged to check in early is greedy.

nice brand-new design hotel, great outdoor pool, and standard poor former soviet service!
