“Quieter than the Holiday Inn Express in Adrian”

It's not the greatest place you will ever stay but for the money it's nice enough. It is much quiter than the Holiday Inn in Adrian which is were I stayed the week before. The road noise is so loud I could barley sleep. The Tecumseh Inn is a good place for the money

“OK if no other choices are available”

The motel was only marginally better than when I stayed there a year ago. The room was OK, but nothing exceptional. The air temperature control system is old and works poorly. I had requested a non-smoking room but was given a smoking one. The management tried their best to make me comfortable, given the conditions that existed. They are trying to improve the place.

“minium necessities”

It was clean with towles & wash cloths and tolet paper. That was it. Couldn't get the TV to work and mentioned it in the morning and she said many people have problems with it. Do not have wake up call service. There was an alarm in the room

“good for a quick trip”

We rode for over 3 hours in a part of michigan i had never been to before; i needed to go to Adrian and be there @8AM so booked this hotel. The hotel is very old however the room was very clean and served its purpose! Also the staff was very friendly and informative! I guess all in all for the price I paid it was worth it!

“Not for families”

I'm sure part of the problem was race weekend however, with loud drunken parties going on and no hotel staff to keep it down this hotel is not a place for families with small children

I would not recommend anyone staying at this hotel. It is NOTHING like what the website portrays. When I booked this three rooms for myself & husband, his parents & his aunt & her son for a family funeral I specifically asked if they had a continental breakfast & was told yes. I asked for three rooms together so we could be close in proximity. Was told they would request that for us. Asked for one room with two double beds & two rooms with a queen bed. Asked for early check in was told no problem. Arrived to find no breakfast in the winter, had to pay additional $10 per room for early check in & had to pay additional $5.80 for a king bed that adjoins the room with the double beds & my husband & I ended up on the second floor. I could understand if they were booked but there was only five other cars in the parking lot. There was no heat on in any of the rooms when we checked in & i would have thought that knowing that the rooms were reserved they could have turned the heat on so we could arrive to a warm room. The room with the double beds was where the shower didn't work. We could not complain because there was no one in the office until we were leaving in the morning. The towels were probably & hopefully clean but hard to tell because they were so stained. If you can't keep them white then perhaps buy or use a colored towel so your guest don't have to question to themselves whether they are using clean towels. Overall the worst place I stayed!

“depressing stay”

We were very disappointed with our stay. The hotel is in rough shape. That in itself would be forgivable if the hotel was better cleaned. our troubles began with the air conditioner not working in 102 degree temperatures. I spoke to the girl at the desk and she came and looked at it and told me that it was sat in the wrong spot. she made an adjustment and it seems to work for about 5 minutes and then it failed again. we tried to have a shower but the plumbing wasn't functioning properly. it would surge between hot and cold. this made it very hard to wash our baby. finally after having had enough I complained and was moved to a different room. this after having been checked in and told there was no more rooms available. the new room was in better condition with a brand new air conditioner. this made us a lot more comfortable. it is sad that we had to complain to move to a better room. should rooms not all be relatively consistent in a hotel like this. another tidbit of information that we got from the first day there was not an employee up and quit shortly before we checked in .apparently even the employees can't stand being there.
