Pros: proximity to airport and close to major roads in Anchorage. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good continental breakfast)))
Cons: more lighting in the rooms.
Location: i came to Anchorage (from Fairbanks) to watch hockey games at the Sullivan arena and see the start to the Iditarod. Why I came.
it served the purpose. i needed a place to stay for a couple of nights, and this did the trick. close to the airport which made it easy to get there for an early morning flight. one thing i noticed was there were no ceiling lights. I would say this was the thing that i found wanting - insufficient lighting. Also, shower drained slowly, so water tended to build up (not fast, but noticeable).

Deposit requiredPosted Mar 3, 2015
Booked on line and paid in full. When checking in they required a $100 deposit on the room , you get it back at checkout after they inspect the room and there is no damage and you paid cash, if you use a credit card it could take 5-7 days to get it back. Either way nothing was ever said about this at the time of booking the reservation.

Dear Valued Guest, I apologize if you feel misled however, there is a statement right below "Payment Types" titled "You need to know". It states "Government-issued photo identification and a credit card or cash deposit are required at check-in for incidental charges". It can be easy to miss. Thank you for staying with us and hope the rest of your trip was successful. Sincerely, Archie

Hotel needs renovationPosted Feb 18, 2015
The room had an odor and it was cold. Even the heater wasn't working. The sink was blocked and water just stayed there till morning without draining itself. They had very few TV channels too.

Needs renovatingPosted Jan 31, 2015
Cons: Needs renovating. Shuttle van was really dirty inside and out.
Location: Location good
Not good value for money. Water came through ceiling from room upstairs. Staff very apologetic, but still charged full amount.

Big room for cheap ratePosted Jan 26, 2015
Comfortable bed and decent size area with couch. Super cheap rate but it did lack lighting in the room. The shower wasn't the most spectacular thing but for $60 can't complain.

Spent the night. All was in good orderPosted Jan 7, 2015
Pros: Price, more importantly, they have an airport shuttle.
Cons: Some weatherstripping around the doors and windows?
Location: Not so good a location but it was all right.
Could hear a lot of commotion outside the door, also got to hear all the activity in the parking lot downstairs. I was so tired I fell asleep anyway.
