Ideal choice for Tel Aviv

Posted Sep 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
The Isrotel Tower gave us more than we expected. A perfect base for Tel Aviv. We got a good welcome on arrival and our room (1008) was great with a kitchenette with hob, microwave, fridge and sink and dining table. The sofa bed had been made up for our 20 year old son who said it was very comfortable. The furniture was contemporary and very comfortable. Big screen TV had a good choice of English language programming with several recent films shown in English with Hebrew and often Russian subtitles. Big comfortable bathroom with plenty of shampoo/body wash etc. Main bedroom was very comfortable with lots of storage and another wall mounted TV. Best of all our big semi circular balcony pointed South and caught sun from sunrise to sunset. Although a block back from the promenade we had a good view of the beach and see and the rest of Tel Aviv. Sleep quality was excellent. The city can be quite busy at night but the noise wasn't intrusive. Also of note was the convenient parking at a reduced and sensible cost and the stunning swimming pool on the 30th floor is a great place to spend some time. I'd return in a heartbeat because the Isrotel Tower added real value to our visit. The only way it could be better would be to be on the beach! But it is where it is and at least it's convenient to some 24hr and non Kosher stores and has more restaurants and coffee bars within a short walk than you could shake a stick at - including McDonald's. Also next door to the US Embassy.
