Disappointed

Posted May 24, 2015
I expected a Four Star hotel and a Four Star welcome. I found neither. The desk welcome was functional but not that accommodating. The fit and finish of the room and bathroom were in need of renovation - serious renovation. The cab ride from the airport cost $37.50 plus tip. Next time, I will try to stay closer to the airport.

Great price location and staff

Check in was easy and fast, the room was clean, and had appropriate ammenities with a great view from my balcony, and the staff was very helpful and professional. The hotel also has a museum about Maccabee and guest have access to the surrounding sports complex.

Terrible relaxation facilities, unhygienic dining

Posted May 9, 2015
Pros: The lobby is nice, though the bar service is Disappointing.
Cons: Facilities as mentioned need to be solely for hotel guests and need to be more attractive. The dining staff need some serious training.
Location: Not much to do in the immediate vicinity and it is quite a busy and noisy area.
The relaxation facilities do not belong to the hotel, rather to a country club, giving anyone access. The facilities are not very pleasant, in fact quite off putting. The dining room was unhygienicto put it mildly. Glasses had merely been dipped in cold water at best. The staff could also be trained not to stick their fingers inside the glasses! All in all I would not recommend this hotel as a 5* hotel. By European standards this hotel would pass at most as a 3* hotel - even the new suite side of the hotel.

Hotel near airport

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: proximity to airport and yet not far from Ramat Gan/Givatayim
Location: Near Givatayim Shopping mall and Ramat Gan centre
Rooms are a little tired looking. Bathroom is good size but very basic

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hopeless!
Definitely not worth 200+$ and it should not come up as an airport hotel. It is a 40$, 20 minutes taxi ride from the hotel.

Oasis of green and peace in an urbanised area.

Posted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: Decent size rooms
Cons: Nothing at this price.
Location: Near the Ramat Gan Safari Park
We use this hotel often as it is a good position close to trunk roads if you have a car. There are great sports facilities and pools but is very inconvenient for Tel Aviv if you have no transport. It is expensive by taxi due to distance. Hotel is good value, great breakfasts, comfortable and spacious.

Overated

Posted Mar 2, 2015
The hotel has 2 sections. I stayed in the older part. It is rated as a 4 star hotel. Really? More like a 2-3 star by North American standards. Breakfasts were the best feature. In spite of surly staff the food was good and the variety excellent.
