Excellent choice "on" the beach

Posted Jun 29, 2013
Pros: Excellent location - close to the beach, had a balcony, excellent customer service. Very relaxed. Good security.
Cons: Hotel should email all visitors in advance with detailed parking information. Please: more extensive selection of drinks and milk products.
Location: central Tel Aviv beach. Lots of restaurants, swimming, boating, surfing. all within 15 minute walk.
This hotel is hard to find - you will not find it without help. Call first to find out where to park your car or where to take a cab. From the parking ramp you walk up two flights of steps. We reserved the low-price room but it was pretty small and so we upgraded to a room facing the beach - MUCH better. The whole hotel is one corridor and sits underneath the Marina hotel and about 100 yards south of the Carlton. You are two stories above the beach looking out on the sailboat marina. The hotel was half the price of the Carlton and, in our view, much better.

Good location across the street from one end of the beach, entrance just above Marina Hotel entrance. Large room and bed. Hotel staff very helpful very late at night. Anytime check-in was vital and helpful.

Tel-Aviv Vacation Hotel

Pros: The view.
Cons: Personally, glossy tile floors are certainly nice, but seem less comfortable.
Location: Location was good in good walking distance to many great restaurants and right on the beach.
Staff was very helpful. Location of the hotel was great. Walk out on the common exterior balcony and have a great view of the marina and beach. Easy walk to the beach and restaurant just upstairs. Rooms were clean, the indoor jacuzzi worked great. A 15 minute drive to the Azrieli Center mall/Dizengoff mall.

Royal T Suites - Beautiful Boutique Hotel

Posted Mar 26, 2012 on Hotels.com
The shower and sauna were the best. The mattress was firm and we had clean towels & bedsheets! The room was tastefully decorated and modern. There is a beautiful beach and great restaurants, one of which is the London Cafe/Restaurant. The only tricky part is to find our way to the beautiful hotel. The owner, his beautiful daughter and staff were warm, friendly and helpful. I would have given a full 5-star rating had it not been for the unfriendly & unsmiling female staff who refused to allow us to check out at 12.30 on the day of our departure. She said that allowing us to check out at 12 is quite late but we knew previously from the owner's daughter that their check-out time is 12 and she even said that we could request for 12.30 with no problem! I mentioned it to her but she flatly refused.

A honeymoon option

Posted Dec 25, 2011
Pros: View on the marina, comfortable bed.
Cons: Extra bed was not made up despite our clear booking and advising about arriving late. No lift, luggage needs to be carried to first floor on stairs.
Location: Nice location on the marina, far from the international airport
We arrived late at night, and had to leave very early the following morning. We rang to alert the hotel to this, but the extra bed in the booking was still not made up. Some 20 minutes was wasted with this that we could have used for sleeping instead. The room has a weird layout, with the jacuzzi-and-shower in the room and only the toilet and handbasin behind a door. This makes the place best for (honeymooner) couples, for families it is inconvenient. Being rather new, the taxi drivers did not know about it. They had to ring the hotel to find out about its locaiton.

In a prefect location next to the beach, and a 5 minute walk to the trendy Cafe's and Restaurants where local Tel Avivians play and live. Its a small boutique type hotel, but more serviced apartments style, friendly helpful staff and clean, modern large rooms. Impossible to fault. Perfect for a few days or week in Tel Aviv.
