“Convenient location”

The motel was very close to the marina and restaurants. The A/C was awesome, especially after coming in off the river! Would definitely go back.

Area recommendations

Rocky Point Marina was very close and easy to find from the motel.

“Not impressed”

Never wrote a bad review before, but this was not one of my better hotel rooms. The room was very musty and damp smelling. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and the windows do not open. There was not a garbage can in the bathroom and the door of the room would not close unless slammed. The key card took three swipes every time to get in the door and the mattress sunk in the middle. The breakfast was meager at best with one flavor of muffin (chocolate chip) and one flavor of cereal.

“No Thanks!”

If you are on a tight budget this will due - but barely. This is a very old facility in desperate need of a remodel. The bathroom was yucky. Staff was nice. Continental breakfast was very basic.

Area recommendations

If you have kids or in reasonably good physical health, recommend Holiday World/Splash'in Safari in Santa Claus, IN (about 20 miles). Order tickets on-line and save....great family fun!

“Inexpensive Trip”

For an inexpensive trip, I would reccomend the Days Inn. However, They haven't kept maintenance up. The staff is always friendly.

“nasty place”

just had flat sheets on beds, carpet looked nasty, had to get a candle to lite in the room because of the smell. window air conditioners in wall. I am glad I only stayed there one night wouldn't have stayed there 2 nights. I am surprised Days Inn has there name on this Motel

“Bad Hotel”

This hotel was not kept up at all. Plaster was coming off the walls in chunks. The door to the bathroom did not close or lock. The entry door looked like it was broken in and only partially fixed. The carpet was sticky and there was an odor in the room. The only reason I even stayed in the room was because we got there very late and were exhausted.
