Days Inn Tell CityPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Convenient location and they gave us delayed checkout to noon for no extra cost. Price was good for a very basic place.
Cons: Internet access.
Location: Tell City convenient location for downtown. SchweizerFest in August each year is a good event.
We just wanted a basic place to stay in Tell City for a Hgh School reunion. Days Inn worked fine. The main issue was internet access. We never managed to get online - either in our room or in the central office area.

HOTEL FROM TELL CITYPosted Jul 7, 2014
Cons: bathrooms in the rooms and television need replacing
Location: nothing to do the town was dead
Office and pool are the only thing I can say is OK about this hotel. The rooms have just been let go for a long time, bathroom sink was stopped up, tub was badly stained and shower just let out a trickle of water. toliet was very slow. Bed was OK and air condition was good. There rooms just need some work and updating.

Good rooms for pricePosted Jan 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed two times first time the bathroom door opened into bathroom making it hard to get in. The second stay the door opened out much better good rooms for price. Service in office was great the people were very friendly. Location was excellent in the middle of town easy to walk or drive to store, restaurant or gas station. I would stay again

This was a much older hotel than expected. The bed was fine and the shower worked which is all I really needed. However the door frame was falling off and you could see through it and that made for an uncomfortable and uneasy night.

The place is safe. Not the best but your not paying a high rate . If you just need a place to crash, it"s fine.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed inPosted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: My grandson enjoyed swimming in the pool
Cons: Replace front desk clerk
Location: We stayed here because we were going to Holiday World
The light bulb was burnt out (my husband changed it) We went to breakfast and everything was empty coffee, milk only one slice of bread and one bagel left. The front desk clerk (Beth) was sitting in her chair didn't stand up and greet us when we walked in the lobby she didn't get up and restock the breakfast items. There was trash all over the floor. Other guest were coming in to eat and left because there was nothing left. When we went back to the room to take our showers it didn't turn on so I called the front desk and Beth told me to turn the knob---wow I should have thought of that---needless to say we didn't get to take our showers--we weren't offered another room or have maintenance come to see if he could fix it---terrible customer service. This hotel looks very outdated. We were put in a row of rooms not attached to the hotel itself -- dirty hallways and old tables stacked in the hall -- entrance doors very dirty with cob webs.

Not the best, not the worst. The Mexican restaurant was actually really good. Close to the pool you have to deal with kids screaming due to parents with no skills.(stayed 2 weeks)
