Great Place. second time here.Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Service and location
Cons: The bed wasn't comfortable at all
Location: Yes vey
The location is great. The service is great. The room could have been cleaned better during the 4 day stay. The bed hurt my back and was very hard. Valet parking would be better and I expected it at this level of hotel.

Splurge - it's worth it!Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Beautiful and charming. Nice touches like coffee and tea in the morning - cold water in the lobby all day.
Location: Easy walking distance to town and gondola to mountain village.
We loved the hotel. Our room had a small kitchenette including dishes and glasses. We liked having the extra space to store all of our snacks. We even had a wine rack! They provide nice size Aveda products - which I adore anyway.

Pros: The property was really nice. Rooms were very well appointed, well decorated, plush. Only complaint was the inadequate C.
Room was on third floor. AC was woefully inadequate- room was well into the 80s well into the night. Hotel was booked, so no alrernative room, and all the fans had already been given out (if they needed fans and all had already been given out, this was a known problem, and not just with our room. Get larger units.)

Anniversary get away to The Hotel TelluridePosted Jun 29, 2015
Purchased a king room, rec a call the day before we were to arrive to be told they did not have a king available, only 2 doubles which was not how we planned spending our wedding anniversary. They were very helpful to find us alternate accommodations but on such short notice could not come up with anything comparable that met our criteria. We opted to stay here regardless, the staff had worked hard to find us an alternate room in a different hotel but could not locate one with AC which was a huge selling point for us to stay here in the summer. We were happy we opted to stay here to have a room with AC, everything was so hot and stuffy otherwise. We got up for an early morning bike ride on their complimentary bikes, all 3 had flats and according to the desk person had had them for over a week. They should probably pull from the rooms the flier promoting the complimentary bikes if they were not going to repair the flats. The breakfast buffet is not complimentary, it's just generic muffins, toast, eggs, oatmeal, no crepes like I had seen offered. Since we didn't get to bike we went for a walk instead and planned on visiting the buffet when we returned. An hour and a half later we got back and I looked at the oatmeal it was the same as when I left, had not been replenished. I did not care to spend $16.95 on a buffet that the food was no longer fresh, they don't have a menu with made to order options and the fare offered on the buffet I felt should have been complimentary.

Lovely hotel!Posted Jun 20, 2015
I went horse riding but managed to fall off. I broke 3 ribs and needed 4 stitches. I got to the medical clinic and the hotel took over! They were able to accommodate me for 2 extra nights, got my car back in the garage, took me to get my meds & updated the room. Exceptionally helpful were Zac, Ron, Bonnie, Sarah Molly & the wonderful medical clinic. Raves to everyone I encountered! They even brought food & cupcakes🍓🎂

Upscale ComfortPosted Jun 19, 2015
Pros: Decor and cleanliness
Cons: Wished onsite restaurant offered more choices.
Location: Located at one end of the Main Street, the hotel offered free shuttle service to any place in town.
We really enjoyed this hotel - our room was so comfortable and spacious. Two easy chairs and footrest made it feel like we were relaxing at home instead of a hotel. Nice selection of western art in room and throughout hotel. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel- I want to go back!Posted Jun 17, 2015
The location of this hotel is perfect. Just right off of Main Street, they dropped us off at dinner and then we walked back. Gorgeous hotel- but in a cozy/comfortable way. The room was beautiful and the lobby had lots of great places to sit and relax by the fire. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I really want to go back!

Wonderful small hotelPosted Jun 9, 2015
Staying here in early June when the town was not crowded was ideal. The half price offer on the room made it even better.

We will be back every year!Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: The most caring and polite staff I have ever seen in a hotel setting.
Cons: A fine dining restaurant.
Location: Hiking, biking, Gondola ride to the upper town, shopping, off road exploration.
We decided to get married in the quiet old town of Telluride. The Hotel Telluride was the most amazing place. We felt as if the staff became family. I can't say enough great things about Larry (Manager of the Bar) and Amanda (Director of Sales & Marketing). The Hotel Telluride is over the top!

Pros: walking distance to the town center without being in the middle of the hubbub
Location: hiking in the summer, great restaurants. Skiing in winter, festivals in the summer.
We visited this hotel during Telluride's off season, so we were delighted by the reasonable price for a great hotel experience. We got a room upgrade, the staff were pleasant, efficient, and informative. A delightful place
