“Already planning to stay here again for next years filmfest.”

I was very pleased with the room. It was beautiful. Had beautiful views. Riding the gondala to Telluride was fun and beautiful. I loved the double fireplace. The kitchen was great. The staff was great. Parking was a little hard to get and expensive. I understand paying for underground sheltered parking but not outside the room where ever you could find it. The room was very romantic and the tub was nice but 1 of the jets didn't work but no big deal. The thing I did not like was the lighting in the sink area in the bathroom. I had a hard time putting on my makeup.

Area recommendations
I went to Telluride for the Horror Film Fest. The only problem, but not really a problem since I had a car. The gondala to Telluride closes at midnight and everyone knows they play the best movies after midnight. I thought walking all around the town was wonderful. I felt safe day or night. Telluride is a small town and it doesn't take long to walk the whole town.
Events and shows
Telluride is not only a ski town. They have many wonderful festivals. The Blues and Brews fest, Horror Film fest, Telluride Film Fest, Srooms Fest and more.

“Room to small”

The room was very small, there was no place to put our suit cases, they had suit case racks but their was not room for them. No table in the room, and I hardly had space for my make up case. Not impressed to have to pay to park in front of our room. ( out doors )

Area recommendations
The city of Telluride is absolutely beautiful, we will most definitely go back in the winter to ski. Probably will not stay at this hotel. Mountain village is wonderful, and the gondola is the absolutely the best.

“August in Telluride”

Great Hotel. August 25-28 stay. Small room, they have larger available. Great hotel service, nice bar, just beautiful view and excellent location to gondola. Just park your car and forget it. Bedroom was on the small side, but very nice. great bathroom. Great rates too. Don't forget to eat at the top of the Gondola restaurant called Allreds. Great appetizers and happy hour price drinks.. Excellent Dinner and the View is of Telluride.. Fabulous.. Ask for Mario

Area recommendations
Homes in the area approximately Million dollars.
Family-friendly activities
Went hiking all around the town, lots of great trails, very green and great temperatures. Afternoon rains, then clear skies. Hike to Bridal Fall Waterfall,, beautiful.. Town is very exclusive, plan your meal budget.

“avoid if you don't want to shuttle to you car”

Hotel failed to inform me that they had VERY limited parking but was happy to accommodate my car a 15 minute walk away for the same cost ($20) as parking at the hotel. Service was anemic. Shower smelled strongly of mold. I travel to Telluride frequently on business and will not plan to stay at this location on future trips. Overall very disappointing and vastly overpriced.

“Bad watercloset design”

The water closet in our room was too low, causing my wife to complain that she could not wipe without her hand contacting the water in the bowl and causing my scrotem to partially submerge when it was necessary to evacuate. The housekeeping staff has not been trained to report small matters to maintenance (e.g. the lower track guide on our cliding closet door was loose causing the doors to be difficult to open [we called maintenance on that] and the upper hinge on the bathroom sink cabinet was loose as well, causing the door to open awkwardly [we left that one alone])

Area recommendations
Our hotel was conveniently located for our business purpose.
Comment from the hotel's management
Thanks for your input. Although we typically receive very favorable comments regarding our Housekeeping staff and their services we can always do a little better. Thanks for pointing this out to us as we will certainly use this opportunity to continue elevating our service standards.

“so many bad things”

do not eat at "the view", the lobby restaurant. they served french toast charred black. the outdoor pool is not connected to any of the rooms. imagine walking to and from it in your bikini in the cold. one of the worst experiences ever. lobby has sofa that busts at seams. you must call the front desk to get the shuttle bus to come to you. otherwise, you wait forever make sure ask and double check when you ask the valet to bring up your car. they forget. room has outlets that don't work. very small bathroom. not really a true ski in ski out place. you walk to a bridge and ski down to lift areas. hotel has no ski chalet. all self service.
