Beautiful hotel, great views, super cleanPosted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Convenience, views, comfort of room, staff
Location: Mid mountain, access everywhere by gondola, trails, biking good food in town
Breakfast was the only disappointment. Non-fresh fruit, ran out of orange juice, eggs badly cooked.

Great hotel close to free gondola.Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location.
Location: There are restaurants on the mountain within walking distance. The free gondola is great for getting into town. The restaurant and pool at the lodge
Rooms and staff were excellent. Parking is $20 per night. Very high. The alternative is to park in town and gondola up.

Mountain Lodge TelluridePosted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: See above
Cons: Allow restaurant to serve take out when private parties using restaurant facility
Location: Mountain Village, Telluride, biking, hiking, winter snow sports all adjacent to hotel
We arrived and were checked in quickly. Self parking was sold out, so we had to valet (same cost). Our room was fantastic (2 bedroom deluxe suite), cleaning service was excellent. The pool and spa were great, changing rooms/bathrooms in lodge were great. We did attempt to eat dinner in the restaurant/lodge the last night we were there (it was pouring rain) and they had a private party so weren't serving food, this was somewhat disappointing (not even takeout) but we made the best of it. Even though the resort was busy it didn't seem crowded ever. We saw wildlife (deer, elk) while walking to the gondola…then discovered that if we walked the other direction, it takes you into the village in the same amount of time. Very convenient location near gondola and market as well. Would love to buy the condo we stayed in but can't afford it!!

Beautiful property in the heart of The RockiesPosted Jul 29, 2014
This property located in Mountain Village is convenient to casual & fine dining in a breathtaking setting. Plenty to keep one occupied. Telluride proper is just a short gondola riide away with beautiful views in any direction. This is my 4th trip to Mountain Village. My 3rd to this property,

Great locationPosted Jul 27, 2014
Great location and good access via free gondola. Lack of air conditioning was a little uncomfortable during summer visit. Open windows let bugs in.

Beautiful placePosted Jul 25, 2014
Hotel and grounds very nice. We stayed over a weekend when weddings were taking place. Unable to use pool, restaurant or bar for two days of our vacation due to the weddings. Certainly, there were plenty of other things to do and see in the area. Was a bit put out as this was inconvenient and disappointing. Would stay again with assurance that all facilities would be available.

Mountian View LodgePosted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: The staff were very polite and helpful.
Cons: Parking and room assignment.
Location: Telluride is close by and accessible by Gondola. An entertainment is also accessible by Gondola.
The room was a Jr. Suite that had a king sized bed, but we needed two beds so a roll away was added that took up the entire living area. The suite air enviorment is controled by the hote and not the occupants on the room. The room was hot and the windows and patio door had to be opened for the cool air to get in. The shower/tub and the toliet are in the same room and it is very small. (we are large people) that made it uncomfortable. The kitchen area was OK, the couch was leather and very soft. It was hard to get up off it. There was no parking at the hotel for the truck we were driving. It has a trailer with an ATV on it. We were charged $40 a day to park in a grarage that was up the street. Very inconvient.

Nice summer vacationPosted Jul 9, 2014
The Mountain Lodge at Telluride will be on my list for the winter too. Nice lodge and everything including the resort and town is readily accessible. You won't need a car except to park it the whole stay. Great for the family! The summer activities are awesome. Mountain biking, hiking, fishing, jeep rides. ATVs, .... All good! .
