“Great pick for the money”

Affordable hotel, clean, no fuss. Not fancy but perfect for what we were looking for.

“A Pleasant Surprise!”

After comparing hotel rates in Telluride, I was nervous about booking this hotel. What we found upon arriving, however was a wonderful surprise! The hotel is old, and the floors creak, but the room was very clean and complete with a full kitchenette, two beds, and a perfect location! We were very pleased with our choice and very comfortable. If you're expecting a five star resort, go to Mountain Village. If you want a clean, comfortable, convenient place to stay, this is it! Thanks Mountainside Inn! We'll definitely be back.

“Chep but comfortable in Telluride”

The staff was lovely, the bed was really comfy. Its a little hard to find, and the hot water literally took 30 minutes to get going. But I had a late check in and they made it easy for me, as well as letting me check out late the next morning.

“Good Value”

Good value for Telluride. Close to town and Gondola to Mountain Village. Rooms are a bit small and there is no daily maid service unless you pay for it.

“can't wait to go back”

Great location right next to the in-town lifts and access to downtown Telluride. The Inn allows dogs, which is very important to us, and there are hiking/snow shoeing trails right outside the door. Would definitely stay there again. The large hot tub right next to the river is an added bonus.

“Comfortable and Quiet”

This was not a 5 star hotel but, for my purposes, it was perfect. I spent the days away in classes and returned in the evenings to a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

This isn't a luxury hotel, but it is clean, comfortable and in a good location. It was perfect for what we were looking for and at a reasonable price.

“great time in Telluride”

Mountainside Inn is not the fanciest of places to stay, but for the price the location was excellent. We were within walking distance to most of what we wanted to do, the Gondola is free, the Galloping Goose is also free transportation for when our feet were too tired to walk. We only drove our vehicle when we left the town to explore other places for our day trips. The bed was most comfortable. Our floor was a bit squeaky. We had the kitchenette which allowed us to microwave leftovers, or cook on the stove top. there is also a small refridgerator and sink. I especially loved the water pressure in the shower, it felt really good after a hot day of hiking. Note there was not a bathtub for soaking, but the shower was great. There is a hot tub, which we did not partake of.

“We will be back!”

Room was very comfortable, not very fancy but has everything you need. Front desk staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, especially Jeanie. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better, a short walk to downtown and very close to multiple hiking trails. The fall foliage in town is the best around, definitely something worth seeing. I would definitely stay here again.

“Good hotel for the price”

Although missing some perks (like A/C), the hotel was a good deal for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was decently sized. Came with a kitchenette, with a stove, microwave, and fridge, which was awesome. Does have free wireless internet, which is a plus. VERY slow connection, but good enough for emails and such.
