“Nice rooms - very spacious”

The room was nice and big and had good amenities, i.e. coffee maker, couch, fridge, iron, etc. My only complaint was that the pillows were so big and high that they were very uncomfortable to sleep on.

“Pleasantly surprised!”

This room was booked under Expedia "Unpublished Rates" and I'll admit, I was not happy. Since there was no recourse under the unpublished rate rules, I thought I would grin and bear it. I was surprised how pleasant the staff were, how clean the room was and the comfort of the beds. Also, the breakfast was better than expected and the pool was nicely heated in November! This place is very well managed and I would stay here again!

“Disappointed”

This property is listed as a 3 star on Expedia Unpublished Rates. Upon arrival, I had to check in through a bullet proof window. Granted, it was late at night, but with lots of travel experience, this is the ONLY "motel" I've been to with such an odd set-up. I'd prefer to be allowed into the lobby. What about hiring security instead of making a pregnant lady stand in the parking lot to check in. Tacky. The air conditioner did not work properly and it remained stuffy in the room. The bed sheets were very rough and itchy. The front desk clerk (in the AM) was VERY rude and seemed disgruntled to even answer a simple question about breakfast choices. Carpet was dirty. I would give this property 1.5 stars, and that is a stretch!

“A PORT IN A STORM”

I had to make a last minute reservation due to a weather related emergency which prevent me from driving home. A severe rain storm caused major flooding which blocked the road to my home. Thus had to get a room for the night. The room I did get was clean and suited my needs. There was two draw backs..the first was the carpet near the windows was very wet. That may of been from the storm or it may of been because they clean the carpets. I reported it the next morning. The other problem was traffic noise. I had trouble falling asleep because of it...but all in all it serve the purpose...a place to sleep that was close to work and not to expensive. I would stay again..but try to get a different room.

Place was run down, office staff did not care and one night they did not even make the bed or get us new towels

“It met our needs”

We were happy with the room and service. Far better then the Motel 6.

“forced into smoking room”

The room was a smoking room, which we did not request. They had no non-smoking rooms available. The room smelled really bad, had cigarette burns in the sheets and the windows would not open. On top of the smoking room problems the room was also not prepared when we arrived at check in. However, the front counter staff was very nice and apologetic for the unprepared room.

We stay at Best Westerns whenever we can because they are so convienient and there is always one within an hours drive. The Temecula, CA Best Western did not meet our expectations. No hand soap in the bathroom, ashes on the night stand in a No Smoking room, socks on the floor at check-in, and weak to intermittent Wifi. On our next visit to Temecula we will be staying in Old Town Temecula.
