Weekend with Friends

Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: The location was great and the cleaning staff was so friendly!
Cons: Check the rooms fire alarms to assure they are engaged. See above
Location: Many stores and restaurants near by.
It started when I called a week prior to get a wine tour and was sent to mutliple telephone numbers, first to a person who gave me a number for a fax machine, then I called the hotel again and was transferred to the same person who gave me the same information! I called the hotel again and asked to speak with a 'live' person and was transferred to a voicemail. Called again and asked to speak to a 'live' person and she gave me her manager. When I got to the hotel I apparently was registered by the same person that I spoke with one the phone and she was less than pleasant. The room was fine, smaller than all of the other ES I have stayed but clean. The faucets dripped in both the bar and bathroom (CA is in a drought!) when I told this same girl at the desk all she said was "I will write it down", no thank you at anytime, even when I checked out. If fact when I asked for the receipt she only stated "you will get it from Expedia", no 'did you have a pleasant stay' or 'thank you for coming'. The other suggestion is for the breakfast, as it is in a small space maybe let patrons know if they do not want a omelet they do not have to wait in line! There was no one there to guide people. So while it was not bad overall, they could definitely use some customer service training, except for the staff cleaning the rooms they were so friendly and kind. Maybe they can give tips to the staff at the front desk, they certainly work hard!

Nice place to stay in wine country

Posted May 7, 2015
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. A very good breakfast was included with made to order omelettes.
Cons: The oatmeal was cold and the hot water for tea was not hot enough. It would be nice to have a microwave oven available in the dining area.
Location: Close to the freeway with a nice variety of restaurants nearby. Wineries about 5 miles up the road. Very convenient!
My wife an I stayed two nights in Temecula to attend our niece's wedding. We opted to stay at Embassy Suite because it was more affordable than staying at the winery where the wedding was held.

Nice hotel close to freeway

Posted May 2, 2015
Pros: The best thing was the breakfast included in the price. Kudos to the chef in the omelet bar! Yummy!!
Cons: Wish the pool was heated. I was told it was but the water was freezing.
Location: The location is perfect. Close to freeway, all kinds of restaurants around the area at walking distance.
Good experience. Attentive staff, easy access, we stayed one night and the space was comfortable. Breakfast is included in the price and they have everything you could want for breakfast, including a chef that makes delicious omelets right there. They also have happy hour with snacks. Not sure it will be a long stay type of vacation place for me and my family, maybe a couple of days, but its definitely a good choice when you think of the price and what's included. They have spaced for business meetings as well and its nice and clean in general.

Good Hotel, close to the wineries

Posted Apr 23, 2015
We stayed just one night for the purpose of doing wine tasting. The hotel was close in proximity to the wineries which was nice. Upon returning back, it was close enough to walk to a restaurant for dinner. Room was clean, quiet and spacious.

Pros: Breakfast. happy hour, room.
Location: Wine tasting, tour brew pub,(there were more than we thought),
Temecula was not where we were suppose to be. We were to meet our friends who winter in Palm Desert but due to illness, they were here at home and we still had reservations to Palm Springs We had read an article in our home town newspaper about Temecula so decided that we would rent the car and drive there for 3 days and drive back to Palm Springs for the final 2 days. The hotel was very nice. The room was clean, noisy in the morning because of garbage pickup. It would have been nice to have a room that overlooked the pool area.Much more quiet then the street side. The complementary breakfast was the best that we have had AND they had Happy Hour every night in the bar area with free drinks and food. Not just chips and dip but salmon spread, bean salad and a couple of other dishes. The staff was efficient. We had scheduled a wine tasting tour for Sunday. While we were out touring Old Town Temecula on Saturday we found out about the Brew Pubs. Coming from Portland, Oregon, Brew Pub Capital, we decided to spend Saturday touring 4 of the pubs in town. The Wine tour was amazing. Very fun and interesting. We had and great time. We had stopped by the Harley Davidson store on Saturday and found out that they were having an event that night with food, drinks and music. We went there for dinner that night. Sometimes you just have to ask what is going on and you can spend time with the locals.
