So much potential...but this hotel felt run down..Posted Feb 20, 2015
The rooms are wonderful with fireplaces, spa tubs, comfy beds and balconies that overlook the vineyards. However, it's obvious this hotel, which structurally is beautiful and in a great location, is not managed well. The hotel interior is run down, scuffed walls and baseboards, peeling paint, dusty picture frames in the hallway. There was even dust on the sides of each carpeted stair...how difficult is it to vacuum the entire step? It looked and felt very "unkept". The staff were "ok", not super helpful and friendly, but polite. The wine dinner was set up in the lobby, which felt like an awkward location. The food was very mediocre. However, the breakfast, included in the room price, was excellent. Overall, our stay was enjoyable but unless they do some basic maintenance to the hotel interior, I don't see this hotel being able to compete with some of the other nice hotels in the area. We probably won't stay here again since there are other, better kept, hotel options nearby for the same price.

No Reservation but there was room at the Inn with UpgradePosted Jan 6, 2015 on Hotels.com
We arrived at Inn at Churon on a Thursday evening for a two-night stay and they did not have a reservation for us that evening even though we had prepaid Hotels.com. However, they were most welcoming as they indeed had room at the inn and upgraded us to a spacious suite with a patio balcony for our 2 night stay. The next day they contacted B&B and Hotels.com to settle the billing. The breakfasts were outstanding and the wine tasting great fun. We definitely will stay there again.

Very pleasant hotelPosted Jan 5, 2015 on Hotels.com
The hotel was very pleasant, centrally located to other wineries, sizable rooms with fireplaces, and offered a great breakfast in the morning. Cons would be the lack of information provided if needed about the surrounding areas, there is none to be offered so you have to do all your own research. We would definitely return.

Awesome in all respects.Posted Jan 4, 2015
Great package that included s massive room, view, fireplace and jacuzzi tub for two...plus breakfast and private wine tasting. Located smack in the middle of wine trail. Plus hot air balloons at sunrise out our window. Can't wait to go back.

Relaxing getawayPosted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: It's picturesque and quiet. There is an old world feel to the rooms. Ours had a balcony and views of the snow covered mountains.
Cons: We didn't check to see if there was dining at the hotel and no night life which was fine by us.
Location: We drove a short distance to tour Old Town Temecula and had dinner at a nice little restaurant on Margareta street called Sorrel.
We spent New Year's at the Churon Winery and Chateau. Quiet, lovely, romantic and comfortable place where you feel like you are away from the rest of the world.

Christmas weekend in Wine CountryPosted Dec 9, 2014 on Hotels.com
Beautiful balcony and fireplace, nice quiet intimate inn. Bathroom nicely upgraded, but carpets need cleaning, wall paper is peeling and the place needs paint and a little TLC. For the price I would expect these details to be attended to.

Stress ReliefPosted Aug 31, 2014 on Hotels.com
We booked this room for rest and relaxation...It was a perfect place to achieve our goal. Breakfast...Bubble Baths....short tour of Old Town Temecula....short trip to the Casino....Dinner out.....Wine Tasting each evening. Our stay was for two nights only, would have stayed longer if we had more time. As to the condition of the hotel...room was clean and comfortable, however, some repairs for leaks in the room and the hallways were not done very well. Storage of tubs and other equipment were in view from the balcony at breakfast. Grounds were well groomed and the view from our patio was pleasant complete with bunnies playing along the lawn. Would have liked to see the fountains and lighting fully functioning in the evening hours. Overall our stay was exactly what we were looking for. We will be staying again in the future.

Great B&B with a view of Temecula ValleyPosted Aug 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff was wonderful. We got to check in early, the staff was very helpful, and we even got invited to watch the smashing of the grapes for the new wine season. Breakfast and wine tasting were included with our stay and parking is free. Churon Inn is walking distance from many wineries.
