Huge rooms and free wifi

What a great hotel and room rates (off season). Rooms are large and well placed with room to avoid your neighbor. Haha! Seriously, this is old school design and all the amenities in a low price. It is off the beaten path (a positive or negative, depending on the context of the visit) I would definitely return and bring friends.

Clean, comfy, friendly, but certain annoyances

Pros: The carpeting seemed new; the bathroom and sink were in very nice shape, by my standards. No motel smell. Very friendly staff! Reasonable breakfast.
Cons: Internet connection. Noisy but effective heater.
Location: There is a beautiful road that connects Fallbrook and the western edge of Temecula. Some trails to park near. Kind of cute main street.
If I were a tourist in the area, and just wanted to use the motel as a base, I would recommend this motel highly. I feel bad writing of my difficulties because overall, the motel is quite nice for the price. However, the internet connection was terrible for me, and that was a big annoyance, as I was not here as a tourist, and wanted to be able to use the internet in the mornings and later at night. The staff was very nice about trying to help me, but there was nothing they could do about the fact that I kept getting kicked off the internet and was prompted repeatedly to have to login in again. This could happen four or five times in the course of an hour, sometimes in the first ten minutes! If I had needed the internet for my work or for more frequent communication with family/friends, I would likely have left. Another annoyance was that the electric socket that would have been convenient to keep my computer plugged into had a timer on it. The lamp would go off while I was reading in bed, and a small heating pad I use would go dead long before its automatic shutoff. I had to keep my electronics plugged into a different socket where I was always having to contend with the cord as I moved around the room. The first night, for some reason, just waving my hand in the air engaged a sensor that turned the light back on worked, but every other time, I had to get up and go press the light/socket switch. Small issues, but irritating just the same.

Big room didn't smell like other people mentioned on other comments. Everything was just as shown on picture. Have no complaints. Happy camper.

Not bad, but nowhere near worth $77/night

The hotel is a small roadside hotel with individual cabin-like rooms. It's not a great place if you're looking for a place to do anything more than rest your head at night, though. That is exactly what I needed, so no complaints about the facilities. However, for what I paid, it wasn't acceptable. The hotels for the entire area had drastically inflated rates for the weekend I stayed there, though, so that should be taken into account. Still, the bathroom light didn't like to stay turned on, the tub had a regular leak out the faucet like it wasn't completely turned off, and water temperature was not consistent at all. And when I got to my room, the a/c was off despite it being stuffy otherwise. If the rate had been $40/night, I wouldn't be complaining, but I was paying $77, and that was the cheapest in town that Expedia could find.

Worst place to stay in the area

I came to this MOTEL thinking it would be semi-nice especially for the price that is Atleast 50 dollars than a motel 6. I would have rather stay at a motel 1. This place charged me extra cuz we reserved two beds and they said they charge extra for 2 person occupancy. They wouldn't let me check in without paying the fee, so I paid. This place ended up giving Me a king room with a pull out couch. The bed was hard as a rock and the pillows too. The sheets were almost non existent and the mattress cover on the couch was a tiny blanket. The shower had no hot water and there was no bar of soap. Staff was unhelpful and very rude. Beware of this place and try to stay somewhere else!!!

Location: we enjoyed a local Wedding
Was surprised how nice and big these rooms were. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was big, and the rooms were big.

Nice hotel, meets needs

This hotel is in a little town called fallbrook. I stayed here for just one night to visit a friend. It was a nice room, was upgraded to two beds with a balcony for free. There isn't much to do in fallbrook, although it is right across the street from a hookah bar and next to a restaurant. Very close proximity to groceries. Meet my needs for a very good price.
