“Attitude adjustments needed by staff”

HVAC unit was difficult to operate; continental breakfast selections were poor; customer service attitudes on the part of staff were lacking. It was obvious none of them liked their job -- no one ever smiled.

“Perfect for Downtown Temecula stay”

We enjoyed a Friday night in downtown Temecula, we did not want to be driving since we were sure our evening would include drinking. The hotel was perfect for what we were looing for.

Location was perfect for our visit. We loved the convenience of being right in the center of "Old Town" activity. The room was very nice for the price and the bathroom has been updated with tile and was beautiful. The pool was great for an early morning swim. The office staff were very helpful and gave us some good ideas as to things to do and places to see. A very positive experience and one we will definitely repeat.

“Best location-in need of renovation”

This Rodeway has the BEST location in the whole of Temecula and it is a dump. The paint on the walls of the bathroom door was peeling. The last time the room was painted there was paint marks on the carpet. The windows were not clean. There was paint that had dripped on the windows and not scraped off. Still, the maid did a good job...clean bed and towels. The back of the bldg has no windows and the rooms could easily be reconfigured to have a window on the back of the room. I requested 2 beds -had to book a room with a king for Fri/Sat that was all that was available. Had booked a 2-bed for Sunday. Upon arrival they were able to give me a 2-bed room but charged me $10 extra per night. Went to breakfast Sun am and returned to locked room...they were not able to put 2&2 together and blend the 2 reservations. The worst was the dirty spa with dead roach floating. And it was more than the new Holiday Inn!

The hotel and its staff was great throughout my entire stay. we arrived late and it was great that they stilled where holding the reservation for us, on this holiday.

Arrived early but manager did not want to come out of her apartment to the front desk. When she finally came out, she was very unpleasant. Was told that no rooms were available and that I would have to check in later. I told her I would not be able to return until late at night. Returned late at night and was told they had no rooms available even though I gave the night attendant my Expedia reservation. His response was that they were full and had no rooms available. I told him that I had already confirmed the room when I stopped by in the morning. after another five minutes, he gave me a key and slammed the door shut. The place looks and feels old. The room was painted in putrid mustard yellow and a dark blue. The air conditioning in installed high on the wall at the end of the bed and blows directly on those who are in bed, making sleeping difficult. In short, I would not recommend this place under any condition.
