Walking Distance Is Only Amenity

Posted Mar 11, 2015
Poor check-in. Our room between two under construction. Noisy til well past 6 p. Continental breakfast put away before posted hours were complete. Couldn't even get a receipt for my payment. And why do the sub contractors have to park their oversized utility trucks in the guest spots?? Nearness to Old Town is the ONLY amenity!!

It is friendly environment. The hotel is in the old downtown Temecula. There is a night club across the street and they have loud music which can interefere with your sleep at night.

nice hotel in old town Temecula

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: Hotel is right at the end of the old town strip.
Cons: Room could use some fresh paint.
Location: Hotel is walking distance from restaurants, wine tasting, and night clubs.
Hotel was nice and fairly quiet. Rooms were clean, a bit dated though.

Good for the money, I'd stay there again

Pros: There was good A/C that you could control, and there was hot water! Very important ha-ha. It was clean and the staff was nice enough.
Cons: Better room keys, the water faucet was broken in the bathroom sink (very hard to control temperature of water)
Location: Very quaint location. In the middle of old town Temecula which was really nice. Also make sure to eat at Penfolds!!
The rooms are what you would expect for 50 dollars a night. They were clean but not particularly nice looking. The most annoying thing was that the room keys had to be replaced after literally every use. Every time we came back to the room from a day out, we would need to walk to the front desk to get our room keys fixed. Which wasn't very hard since its a pretty short walk.

Nice price

I was a little disappointed that someone was in my room while I was away. I returned to find that all the drawers were slightly open like someone was looking for something. I would not return nor recommend this hotel to anyone.

Economy hotel. Clean

Room was ok but WiFi was very slow & ended up not being practical because nothing would load. Also, the water temp in the shower was not consistent. If water was being used in another room our water became scalding hot! Otherwise the room was as good as expected for the cost.

Close to Old Town but Not As Pretty

Posted Jan 13, 2015 on Hotels.com
If you want convenience to Old Town Temecula, this hotel is right at the south end. The outside and front look much better than the rooms which are tired and banged up. Silverfish in the bathtub, small toilet, patched walls and dinged up furniture. Our No Smoking room smelled of smoke - we left the door open for about 30 minutes which helped. We came back late from the casino and found people parking in the hotel lot and going to bars. The operator was friendly enough but the breakfast bar is minimal and in the same room as check-in. One table and three chairs means you probably aren't going to get your money for the breakfast. If you can afford $100 and don't want to be right on Front Street, you don't want to stay here. We learned our lesson - no more cheap hotels.
