Pros: price, size, furnishings, decor, amenities, management
Cons: free breakfast could be expanded a bit and more seating should be added once they redo their office
Location: right off Hwy IH35 South in Temple - lots of things to do in nearby Waco, Salado, Killeen, Belton, Fort Hood and others
This hotel is hard to see because their office & sign have been torn down due to the highway expansion. The large nicely furnished rooms are very nice, though, with frig & microwave, tub with shower, and very comfortable beds. The rooms at Knight's Inn also are relatively quiet and have nice views, unlike the other nearby inexpensive hotels that are closer to the highway, noisier, and have rooms overlooking the parking lots. We saved a lot of money staying here and are quite happy with our choice. Management is efficient, friendly, and deals with issues quickly.

While it's fine for an overnight stay it is a very transient hotel, lots of workers that stay there overnight. As a woman traveling alone I did not feel particularly safe after seeing a vehicle driving around the parking lot and the person driving the car and the car itself looked a litle sketchy. Took forever to check in because the lady didn't know what she was doing - couldn't find my reservation and had to call someone on the phone to get help. I am supposed to stay there again this weekend and while the price is great I don't know if I can stay there again.
