Well organised, firnished and placed hotel/ Very interesting desing/ we have spend a good time there / friendly and helpfull staff/ good cuisine (mexican restaurant is the leader of all their 5 ones)

This hotel is superb! From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcomed and the hotel is very stylish and very "up market". The receptionist was very friendly and the bell boy takes you and your bags to your room where he shows you all the rooms features and explains the hotel lay out. The gardens, pool and bars/restaurants are very nice.

“A wonderful hotel.”

Having stayed at many 5* hotels all over the world we were still impressed by this one. Did not like Tenerife much but had a wonderful holiday purely because of this unique, little oasis of calm. The attention to detail was phenomenal: cleanliness of all public areas and bedrooms; quality and quantity of food; helpfulness of staff; the amount of space for the number of guests;and the design and luxury of the buildings, fixtures and fittings. We paid extra for a sea view room and would recommend doing that, or at least to a garden view. Plenty of loungers, beach towels, outdoor seating. Good mix of nationalities amongst the guests. Taxi from the airport is 20 euros and well worth it. If we ever did go back to Tenerife, which is extremely doubtful, we would not consider staying anywhere else.

“Sophisticated Luxury Haven in Tenerife”

We wanted a very warm holiday in March. We wern't sure about Tenerife as we don't like to be in 'too touristy' an area. However, we were absolutely delighted with all aspects of this beautiful hotel. Go to this hotel if you want peace, quiet enjoyment, beautiful accomodation in very high quality rooms with luxury marble bathrooms. Even the complimentary toiletries were the nicest we've seen. Room towels were constantly changed through the day and pool towels were very high quality. I cannot praise the staff too highly, they were all beautifully dressed in Mexican costume! Finally the hotel is full of beautiful sculptures, pictures etc and everywhere you look the hotel is colourful and interesting. Walk straight out to the shops and bars and restaurants and the nightlife of a busy resort BUT return to Villa Cortes!!

“Interesting & very comfortable hotel”

My only critisism was the poor service at reception - I don't expect to be ignored on arrival or on departure. All other staff were very friendly & helpful. The various restaurants were interesting & the food of high quality. The pool & its surroundings were lovely we were quite happy to stay within the hotel grounds for much of our time.

First visit to Tenerife. Very impressed, ideal location away from crowds and less desirable areas. Some good quality restaurants nearby. Nothing was too much trouble within the hotel. Very relaxing atmosphere. Superb choice at breakfast. Do not book a landview room, could be noisy. Would recommend to anyone looking for good quality, I will return once again off peak.
