Lovely hotel close to everythingPosted May 20, 2014
Pros: As I said the staff was very nice and helpful, rooms clean, location perfect
Cons: My rooms door was a little stiff so I had to kind of bang it close which was a bit annoying since one does not want to make noise in the late night.
Location: Location is centre old town. It is near to very nice restaurant to eat good foor, or just sit an evening listening to music. Near any Plaza events.
This hotel suited me perfectly. It is situated in a very nice place in old town close to the sea, close to nice restaurants with good food, near shops and events on the plaza. Very nice staff in reception, and nice with the night portiere to open the door for late customers as me. Feels safe to return when the reception is staffed. The rooms were kept clean. Nice with kitchenette in case one wants to make something in the early morning for break fast. Was also very well equipped if one chooses to make real food one day. This is a place where one will return.

Central for everythingPosted Dec 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Clean sheets & towels daily. Cooker a bit worn, couldn't see numbers on dials. Wish we had specified terrace, there were none available when we arrived. More Parasols around pool needed. Easy to find free parking spaces close by. Spotless reception, lifts.

We only stayed for one night in this Hotel. I booked 2 Twin rooms. It did the job, but I couldn't stay there for a week or god help us, 2 weeks. The rooms had seen better days. Badly in need of an update. Would I stay there again ? No way.

No-frills central self-catering accommodationPosted Apr 9, 2013
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Being able to book reasonable excursions at the hotel.
Cons: Quite noisy if spending a night in.
Location: The hotel is in a central location, meters away from shops and restaurants and the main square of the town.
The hotel is in Puerto de la Cruz in the north of Tenerife. It's a nice place to escape the worst of the sun'n'beach tourist machine. The hotel is in a central location, meters away from shops and restaurants and the main square of the town. This hotel only does self-catering accommodation, but this is great if like me, you enjoy a mix of eating out and cooking up some home comforts. It's a no-frills hotel I'd say, but with friendly and helpful staff. Did enjoy lazing by the roof-top pool while nursing my sunburn one day. Local sites: casino sea water pools, loro parque (birds, dolphins, whales), Taoro park with nice views over the city, Hacienda San Pedro (convent turned into a restaurant on the hill above the town).

Acceptable for the (very low) price paidPosted Apr 2, 2013
Pros: Kitchen facilities decent, location good
Cons: Very noisy (plumbing, other rooms, live music from surrounding bars)
Location: Very conveniently located
Fine as a budget offering. Great location and good sized rooms with decent kitchen facilities. As noted in other reviews, the hotel is very dated so suffers noise issues (crap plumbing and little sound insulation between rooms. This was acceptable considering the price for all but 3 days of our stay during which the hotel had booked every available room to drunken (and correspondingly noisy) high school students.

Great Value For MoneyPosted Dec 5, 2011
Location: Taking a left from the apartments takes you into the square surrounded by numerours shops and resturants - very handy when you're self catering
Most people would whinge about this place as its a basic as you can probably get but for the price we paid its a steal. The only whinge I would have was that the bed was a tad lumpy and the solution to not having double bed was simply "push the beds together!" Other than that, and as mentioned, for the money its a steal and proves the old adage that you get what you pay for. Overall, the staff were more than happy to help, the rooms were very clean and the apartments were close to the beach and a huge variety of resturants and shops
