Lovely hotel & location, but avoid the half board.Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: Location & Atmosphere
Cons: Food, Food
Location: Onthe outskirts of Adeje, on seafront, though small walk to a decent beach. 10-15 minutes walk to La Caleta
We stayed at the hotel over New Year. Location for us was excellent, quiet, but easy walk to busier parts and La Caleta. Our room was fine, not spectacular, but clean & comfy. We had been concerned that the pool area might be a disappointment, but it was not too crowded or noisy. There was a good atmosphere in the upstairs bar/lounge in the evenings compared to The Sheraton where we stayed last year. Not all positive however. We booked half board, but would not do so again. althougt the breakfast was fine, the evening buffet was a big disappointment, food generally tasteless and tepid. We tried the A La Carte restaurant 1 night, but the food was also, to say the least, poor. On the upside the staff were attentive & friendly, if a bit eccentric! Another small negative is the need to pay for your safe and tea/coffee facilities, we felt that this was a bit petty for a supposed 4 star hotel. However, in balance, we would definitely stay here again, but book only B&B in future.

Myself and my partner just had two weeks in the Costa adeje palace hotel.and it was lovely.considering i broke my elbow at the beach the second day of our holiday we still had a lovely time.because of my broken elbow and having a cast from my shoulder to my fingers we stayed around the hotel during most days . The pool area is fabulous and they have these huge double sun bathing beds like four posters . So i could lay in there with my arm on a pillow and it really made a difference to my comfort. Also i was lucky they have a lovely jacuzzi i could sit into up to my waist to cool off . Only thing was there is a sign saying no children under 12 and it was full of kids with arm bands using it as a swimming pool kicking up water etc not good with a cast on.. . . The food was lovely so much choice breakfast was my favorite they have a bakery full of anything you can think of . . Only thing is try to sit outside cause inside is like a canteen everyone pushing and shoving .in general the staff are nice and helpfull you will get the odd misery guts but i treat people how they treat me i would just ask if ties was a problem they soon change there tune. The hotel is a very long walk from los Americas but myself and my partner love walking so we loved it there is a very long promenade the whole way along the sea front. If you are going to the beach be careful there are some seriously strong waves that's what happened to me i got wiped out by one don't let your kids in alone !

Tenerife in comfort by the seaPosted Oct 25, 2012
Cons: Areas set aside for Privilege clients
Comfortable hotel in excellent location with good facilities and entertainment. Excellent breakfast choice, we really appreciated the cava. Maybe a bit far from noisy nightlife but it's within 20 minute walk or €8 taxi ride. Lovely walks along the prom or in other direction to La Caleta where you can get excellent food and snacks. Or just stay by the pool, plenty of space for beds, good pools and a gym.

Great hotelPosted Jul 4, 2012
Location: Bit far away from the main bar/restaurant area, however its a lovely walk along the beech front to them.
Staff at breakfast and dinner were a little disappointing and forgetful, seemed to have a lot to do. Hotel in general was lovely and the rooms were fantastic. View from the room (beach facing) was great.

Pros: Pool areas and surrounding Gardens
Cons: Did not have any.
Location: Location was wonderful, easy walk along pathways to beach from each direction.
I would recommend this hotel to friends, colleagues etc. I must mention the fantastic staff, their warm welcome, their efficiency, just marvelous. As for the food at the hotel, we were half board, my congratulations to the chefs and staff for the display and assortment of dishes at each meal, lovely. The garden, pool area and staff again lovely.

Pros: Food and room
Location: Outside the main town but still within easy walking distance.
Very pleased with hotel - cleaned every day. Choice for breakfast was exceptional. The only thing we were a little disappointed in was the entertainment in the hotel. Overall we would stay there again.

H10 Costa Adeje PalacePosted Mar 8, 2012 on Hotels.com
Because of the concentration of the housekeeping staff on preparing empty rooms for incoming clients our room was not looked after. A letter was pushed under the door saying that they did not enter because of the "Do not disturb" notice. This was only posted in the late afternoon. Not acceptable at these rates.
