hotel las aquilasPosted Apr 21, 2011 on Hotels.com
location of this hotel is fab the quality of service is excellent too. The communal and garden areas are exceptionaland well maintained. It is recomended to take half board, as there is nothing in the immediate vacinity but the hotel food is wonderful and has many varieties to suit all tastes. However the rooms, all be it large are not that comfortable and there is a kitchen area which is of no use and has no self catering facilities, this area could be put to better use, however the overall experience was good and i would consider returning to this hotel.

Excellent large hotel with huge rooms and balconiesPosted Feb 11, 2009 on Hotels.com
We had wonderful suites with sea views; jacuzzi baths and all comforts. Generous buffet breakfasts and dinners. You need a car to get around. Lovely towns nearby such as La Orotava and Puerto de la Cruz. You can get anywhere on the island in a short time, really. The only single drawback of this location is that it's in the north where there is not as much sunshine as the south.

Very nice hotel overlooking Puerto de la CruzPosted Nov 25, 2008 on Hotels.com
The hotel is really nice, with spacious apartment rooms and bathrooms. I liked the location on a hill overlooking Puerto de la Cruz. Beautiful view (would recommend seaview)! You also see the El Teide from the front of the hotel. Friendly service.

Enormous suite. Immaculately clean. Wonderful jaccuzzi bath and power shower. Double balcony. Plenty of room for 3 adults in one suite. Excellent value for money. Great facilities ( could be better advertised in Reception)

Great HotelPosted Oct 30, 2008
We went here for our honeymoon and found this hotel to be excellent. Location wise the hotel is just on the outskirst of the town. There is a bus to take you into town and taxi fares are around 5 euro each way.It is easily seen from the TF5 so getting here is easy. From the South Airport, best route to the hotel is to use the motorway by goinf anticlockwise around the island. Be warned the hotel is on a hill top so unless you have a car, you will need to use the hotel bus or taxi to get on and off site. We had a room with seaview which is highly recommended. The breakfast buffet is excellent with good selection while the evening buffet is adequate. I would venture to the town for a good selection of restraunts.

beautiful settingPosted Aug 16, 2008
We loved this hotel and got a great deal. It was cloudy all but one day we were there though. Unfortunately they were renovating while we were there so a bit noisy. get a sea view room.
