Disappointing - poor food and room facilitiesPosted Nov 20, 2013
Pros: Location, staff and pool area
Cons: Rooms could be updated with more comfortable beds, extra plug sockets and tea and coffee making facility
Location: Close to beach with watersports available. Plenty of restaurants, tourist shops and small supermarkets and pharmacies close by. Tours available
I had a good stay which I enjoyed, but I was disappointed by the hotel facilities. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, there was only one plug socket in the room which meant I couldn't watch tv if I wanted to charge my phone, and there was no ability to make tea or coffee in the room. I can't remember the last time I stayed even in a B&B which didn't have a kettle! The room was very clean though and a reasonable size with balcony. There was only one restaurant serving dinner, and that was a very poor quality buffet with greasy and unpleasant food, and the breakfast buffet wasn't much better - I would expect a 4 star hotel to have a menu for dinner in their restaurant. There are plenty of restaurants close by the hotel, which I used after the first night. If staying on the side of the hotel with the entrance on, you are subjected to frequent loud announcements and music (including daily fitness classes) day and evening from the hotel opposite. This mostly finished before 11pm so ok if you didn't want an early night. Quite a good location if you are looking for somewhere close to the beach, and pleasant and helpful staff. The pool area is very nice, and the pool bar serves quite nice lunches and drinks.

Good hotel, great breakfastPosted Nov 14, 2013
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, room had a fridge, staff friendly and helpful
Cons: Comfort of beds, price of wi-fi access, dedicated shower in room as opposed to bath-shower, better toiletries.
Location: Beach, restaurants nearby - best one I found during my short trip was an Indian called 'Bombay Babu' - not cheap but very good.
Good location - beach and sea front within very short walking distance. TF-1 motorway also very close. Some noise at night from local bars but not excessive. Getting to the hotel car park a bit tricky first time and also not quite enough spaces. Room was spacious - fridge, safe and balcony with seating and table however as I was on the first floor, people could see in from the street. Pool was large with plenty of sun loungers. The beds could have been more comfy but weren't too bad. Breakfast was excellent - everything you could possibly want. Pool towels are available for a 10 Euro deposit. 30 mins of wi-fi access per day is free but full access for a week was 20 Euros which I thought was expensive. TV had BBC1 and 2 and BBC news channel but no other channels I have at home in UK. Aircon was simple to use and effective. Room cleaned daily.

Lovely hotel with an abundance of facilitiesPosted Sep 23, 2013
I would recommend this hotel. The facilities are excellent from the table tennis table to the jacuzzi and pool tables. The entertainment staff are very friendly and enthusiastic and put on a range of shows and activities in the day and evening. The buffet meals are great quality and there is a massive range of food. The location is ideal if you want the option of walking along the promenade in the day or evening and enjoying a nice cold drink at the bars overlooking the sea, and also ideal if you want to take a short taxi ride into playa de las Americas for a livelier night out.

Fantastic HotelPosted Sep 8, 2013
Pros: Food and staff excellent and cleanliness everywhere.
Cons: Some fittings in parts of hotel are a bit shabby but cleanliness makes up for it.
Location: Shops bars and lovely promenade. Lot of touts but ignore them. Resort has a lot of inclines so beware if you have walking or breathing difficulties.
Great time at this hotel. Staff very friendly and any problems delt with in 5 minutes. Food excellent although gents had to wear long trousers at dinner. Hotel and pool area spotless. No fears about going to this hotel.

Poor quality for supposed 4*Posted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: Pool layout ok
Cons: Where to start. Staff giving information. Courtesy and consideration for individual needs. General organisational improvements
Location: Great fun location with lots to do familywise. Just don't use Iberostar.
Very poor organisation on our arrival. Room extremely basic with serious maintenance issues. Seriiusly poor "courtesy" late check out service.

Average hotel with average food. Not a 5-star!!Posted Aug 9, 2013
Pros: Private pool on the top floor.
Nice hotel but definitely not a 5-star one. Upgraded to a suite to get access to the private pool on the top floor of the hotel and this is really the only nice feature. 270deg view, nice and quiet. The rest of the hotel is just average Buffet food like some reported was average at best. You could feel that the hotel is trying to save money on the ingredients. Best example: the sushis with an enormous quantity of rice and a very thin slice of salmon or tuna. Overall, Ok for a night but not for an entire week there.

Highly RecommendedPosted Jun 15, 2013
Pros: Food, Sunbed availability
Location: Very Good Location, within walking distance of all you need.
The hotel is in a very good location about 200 yards from a sandy beach, and close enough to bars and restaurants to be very accessible, but without any noise. We stayed here at the beginning of June and it was the first time for a good few years that I've stayed at a Hotel, where you can get a sunbed around the pool without any problem at all. Also at the time we were there the price was an absolute bargain. (Booked through Expedia) The rooms are probably in need of a little updating but are kept very clean and are certainly adequate. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Always a very wide choice available and of a very good standard. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly Erika (Our waitress) in the dining room, who was excellent and deserves a pay rise!!!! I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel and indeed am very likely to return in the near future.
