Cons: Staff should smile more
the restaurants were not as expected .. More along the lines of extensions to the buffet with a different decorative theme for each but all merging into one .. Service n facilities at adult pool were excellent made for a very relaxing 5 day break .. Rooms were very spacious n very comfortable n luxurious ..

Weekend awayPosted Oct 19, 2014
Amazing stay!!! Upon arrival we were welcomed by Elsa who was fantastic. We were lucky to be offered a free upgrade to the villas with access to private adult pool. This made a statement for the entire stay. Pool service was excellent, did not go an hour without being asked several times if everything was ok, in addition we received free poolside treats. Room was cleaned twice a day. The facilities were very nice and the breakfast was tasty. We dined at the onsite Michelin star restaurant MB which lived up to its reputation and more. Also managed to get in a round of golf which is a must as this shows the best views of the resort. The only fault I would say is that staying in the villas you rely on hotel buggies to pick you up from your room to get you to the other areas of the resort and to the main hotels and on 3 of the 4 occasions we called to be picked up no one ever came. We had to wait up to 20 mins at one point near the villa entries and flag down a buggie to ask to be taken to the top. If this area could be improved upon o efficiency and consistency it would make the stay in the Villas more relaxing. However, despite this, the hotel is still first class and so are the staff! I would return again and recommend to anyone without hesitation. Elsa made our weekend a cut above the rest.

Great ChoicePosted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Location, service, food, beach, pools - perfect for a quality, quiet holiday.
Cons: The view from our room was disappointing, great cacti obscuring the view. Asked reception if they could change our room and was rudely told no.
Location: You really need a car if you stay here to get about. We have been to Tenerife a few times so, for this time we were quite happy to stay within hotel.
This is a lovely oasis in the south of Tenerife, away from the crowds this hotel has everything for a peaceful relaxing holiday. Rooms spacious, very clean, lovely touches with turndown service with bottled water and a chocolate each evening. Lovely pools especially the Infinity adults only pool with great poolside service and easy to get a sunbed or cabana no matter what time you turned up. Beach also lovely, golden sand with again lovely beachside service. Restaurants within hotel complex excellent. Gardens in abundance all well maintained. All in all a very good choice.

Tenerife Ritz-Carlton, AbamaPosted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: everything except see below
Location: Stayed on site as we wanted to chill
Booked deluxe room but paid for an upgrade to Tragor Villa suite which was fantastic. Private pool for villa guests only, complementary drinks round pool. Buggy provided to wiz round hotel grounds. We found Italian and Argentinian restaurants expensive and not a relaxing experience due to very casual dress ( hotel states elegant casual) babies and young children crying and running around, also baby buggies parked by tables. Hotel needs to address this. Mirador where we had Breakfast and in the evening becomes fish restaurant, is expensive but a lovely setting and food to match. Guests also observed dress code. Would like to see another restaurant like this in hotel serving bistro style food. For me restaurants let hotel down, such a shame as we loved the hotel.

Cons: Missing ATM.
Everything was nearly perfect, with only one minor issue and that is there was no ATM on site.

Excellent hotelPosted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Rooms, service and pools
Cons: a little bit expense for the drinks and food.
Location: Resort so you are contained on the site, local village is 5 euros in a taxi and is worth a walk around to get out of the complex
Good no real issues, staff and are polite and can not do enough to help. One tip if you are at the adult pool, ask for a buggy to take you back up the hill, we found out on the last day.

Beautiful surrounding view hotelPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Staff are professional and friendly. The room we stay is clean and fairly comfort.
Cons: It is better if the room has a better sound insulation system in place as we could hear the noise from the room above fairly clearly at night.
Location: Hotel located in beautiful quiet surrounding area. It is 35 minutes drive from Aeropuerto Sur.15 minutes drive to Siam Park and Safari centre.
The atmosphere around the hotel is very peaceful but not boring. We could have drink outside the main lobby at night with live music.

Perfect hotel - fantastic staffPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Fantastic setting, lovely hotel, staff that truly care.
Cons: Nothing of any consequence.
Location: Good idea, if staying longer than a week to get a car and explore the national park. It's a good day out.
Our 3rd visit. This place is stunning. Customer service is second to none. If there is a problem, they sort it. Our child lost his bedtime bear and within 24hrs, they located it - 40mins away on the other side of tenerife in the laundry...... Their staff drove to other side of the island, searched the laundry and returned it to our room, complete with a laminated booklet enclosing the bears adventures ! Very, very difficult to fault. Be aware of dress codes for some of the restaraunts.
