“Good value”

Good Value hotel, in a quiet area. Pool areas nice and good for children. Apartments spacious and clean, but fairly basic.

“Great winter break”

Hotel is absoloutely fine but resort is first class. Great relaxing break for couples or families alike. Difficult to pick a bad restaurant in Callao as the overall quality is excellent. Some will be put off by the lack of a decent beach but it is only a short bus or taxi trip away from the larger beach resorts. Clean and friendly resort and hotel.

“Great location for beach and town”

Large and older hotel but all the facilities and the location is excellent for the beach and only a stroll from the centre and its great restaurants. Good buffet breakfast and large indoor/outdoor bar. Views of mountains or sea both interesting.

“Nice place if you don't want to be on the beach”

Nice little appartments that make you forget you are close to the overcrowded beaches of Tenerife. Not the best place to stay if you want to spent your vacancion on these beaches, but ideal as a starting point to discover the rest of the island.

“Pleasant stay”

We had a lovely stay (self catering). Even 3 lovely pools!!! There were everything we needed even an iron (an old one, but ok). Nice view from window. Car parking on the street though :( If you want to explore the island, hire a car.

“Not impressed, unfortunately!”

The staff varied some were more helpful than others. The rooms were clean but fairly basic. No kettle and you had to pay to view the TV, very limited channels. The whole hotel was fairly tired and could really do with a bit of an upgrade. It is in a very quiet area and a better choice may be to select a resort nearer Los Cristianos or Playa de America. Had to pay for Tennis and Squash and there is really no mini-golf to talk of.Could not locate the indoor pool which is mentioned in the list of ammenities. Bus service between resorts is OK but tends to go into every neuk and crannie!! May go back to Tenerife but certainly not to this hotel.

“Not Impressed”

Although I liked the resort itself, we had problems with our toliet leaking out the bottom and they didn't seem to know how to fix it, so we just had to live with it. Otherwise, the apartmetn was really clean. The local bus service was not very reliable, so we had to take a taxi everywhere. The entertainment was not that great, the microphone was too loud, so if you want to get to sleep before 1:00am...take some earplugs. Just below our resort, there quite a few little grocery stores and restaurants, almost all of them speak english. And there are 2 internet places that are quite cheap too. Siam park was great, but go during the week. Loro Parque was amazing, definately worth the trip. We had a lot of problems with our twin ticket (they don't pick up from this hotel when using the twin ticket). We also went to the Medievil dinner which was really great as well. If all you want to do is lay by the pool and drink...then it is a great resort....if you like to get out and do stuff it's a bit more of a hassle. If you want to watch tv in your apartment, it's 1 euro per hr, the only english channels are BBC World News and CNN. There is no microwave as stated and their version of "fitness equipment" is tennis/squash raquets (there is no gym) . I was ready to go home after a week. We didn't have a bad time, but we didn't have a great time either.
