Don’t stay at this property as soon as you get back they close their doors living you outside . Waiting about 20 min to get someone to open the door for you to get into your room. We had to find another place to stay. I am requesting my refund for the 2 nights I didn’t stay at that hotel because of the their bad bad service.

Property is a good location near downtown, but the pillows were the worst ever . I just don’t understand how can you not spend $100 worth of new pillows for the rooms . It was terrible

Quick Tequila,Jal stop .
The hotel suited its purpose , one night in Tequila on a road-trip. Beds were comfortable ,although no comforter or extra blankets available in room . Wifi was okay , moderate strength . Front desk staff was cordial and readily available to help . Parking is not on site , rather 1.5 blocks away. Safe to walk to/from , although only available during stay. Payed 30/pesos on hr past noon (checkout time) .

Very disappointing stay. Rooms were ok, a little noisy. Courtyard is very nice but needs cleaning and repairs. Front desk staff were disengaged and didn't seem to really care. Instant coffee in the morning and absolutely nothing more. On check out, surprisingly, the credit card machine didn't work and I think this was by design because they prefer cash.

Nice Mexican Family Hotel
We really enjoyed this nice, quaint hotel. Parking was included in a close-by lot down the street. The staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and the courtyard was pretty. Only complaint was no hot water in our Don Pedro room, water was only warm. Nice air conditioning. Only 4 blocks to the plaza.

El Hotel está muy bien ubicado y muy limpio. Solamente a 3 cuadras del centro. Los empleados son muy amables y las habitaciones súper limpias.

Skip unless you have no other choice
Not sure why this hotel receives any accolades, no money has been spent on upgrades for years. The sheets on the very old mattress was white originally now a tea colour. The sheet had a hole with a patch that appeared to be an old tee shirt. The washroom ceiling had lots of mold. Location is good, short walk to square. You will easily hear other guests. The staff was good but they do not control the condition of the rooms.

On our last day or car broke down. The staff was wonderful getting a taxi for us to try and jump start the car. When that did not work they helped get us a mechanic that got us all fixed up and on our way. Thank you so much.

We booked late, so most properties were already booked. This hotel was one of only two showing availability for our one-night stay. Distance is a couple of blocks away from the main square, so not bad. Staff onsite were helpful, but not very nice over the phone. Although the room was a good size and comfortable, it wasn't very clean. The comforter on one of the beds had a bad odor. I would have chosen another property if there were other options available.

A decent hotel. Great price. Dated and the lighting in the room was poor. It was clean though. Cute hotel where the rooms surrounded a small central garden. Great location and the staff was friendly. Also free parking which was a big deal for us.

The property is centrally located. There are many testaurants and dance clubs within walking distance. When I walked in I did not have a reservation according to the hotel staff. As a result, they had to give me a new room at the current rate. So I ended up paying more than on the original reservation. I explained that I was not happy with their way of handling the issue and was told that there was nothing they could do about it. Staff needs improvement.

Mediocre stay in Tequila
We stayed for one night at this location while visiting Tequila centro. The hotel is located very close to the main plaza. The room was satisfactory, nothing special. The hotel itself has rooms with a nice garden in the center area. We had two beds in our room. I felt itchy when I slept in one of the beds but the other seemed ok. There was good water pressure and enough hot water. There are many other small hotels in the area. They are not advertised on the booking site, but you could find a more economical place to stay.

It's not fancy, there is no swimming pool, but over all it's a very nice place to stay. Clean, A/C, staff was very pleasant, I would definitely stay there again.

Tequila is a lovely town, and our stay at La Casa Grand Senora was awesome. A hacienda styled hotel w/a courtyard & fountain. Only 8 rooms in total so it has "quaint" feel to it. The rooms were spotless & the beds comfortable. Centrally located & walking distance to everything. Will definateIy return! I highly recommend this hotel.

The good: Wonderful staff, delightful open courtyard, excellent pricing. Good location near downtown, too. The unfortunate: room felt cramped, bed was VERY hard, and courtyard tile floor was dangerously slippery due to being mopped twice a day.

We have stayed at this hotel three times. Very clean, happy staff. This is a small very Mexican hotel. Beds are firm but we all had a great sleep.

Nice clean hotel, 5 minutes walk to town plaza on one way street. Has own parking but I parked on street outside no problems. Not so easy to find due to one way streets.

Excellent value in a Small Town Hotel
Hotel Casa La Gran Senora s located in the small village of Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico, about one hour outside of Guadalajara. Most of the major Tequila Plants are located there and the fields all have Agave plants growing in the area. This hotel is very quaint, clean, and suprisingly very friendly. This is a small hotel but, the staff was very helpful and accommodated all of our request. Hotel is three blocks walking from the main business/tourist area. The town is totally safe and very clean. Although we were there only one night, it was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Tequila. Because of narrow streets, public parking for the hotel is located on the street behind the hotel. Just a quick five minute walk.

Beautiful courtyard and close to downtown. It was also pet friendly. We travel with our cat, which we are finding more difficult to find places to stay in. Most places dogs are allowed and not cats.

This is a clean little hotel in a great location in Tequila. Close enough for easy walks to the plaza and many restaurants and activities, but far enough away that noise was not a problem, a concern in a town that fills on weekends with people looking for - tequila! The room was small but fine, the bed comfortable enough, the price great (under $40/night, cheaper on weekdays). The garden is amazing, birds of paradise, torch ginger, and heliconia, as well as a jackfruit tree and a guava that smelled heavenly. But for the Mexican tile and fountain, it could easily have been Hawaii. There are 5 gallon garafones of purified water on each of the two levels, so you can fill you water bottles and stay hydrated. As the title indicates, we had trouble with hot water. Our first room was upstairs, and when we turned on the AC that night, it ran but did not cool. The next morning, no hot water. We asked the front desk, and they moved us to a downstairs room, a temperature improvement since it was insulated by the upstairs room. We checked the AC immediately and it was fine. Alas, the next morning the hot water was marginally better, but not really even warm. Just not cold. Terall experience was good, but it was a headscratcher as to why the water was a problem. You should also note, the wifi was ok in the garden area, not so good in the rooms, and the breakfats per se was hot water, (Mexican) Nescafe (which is decent)and tea, and some Bimbo bread, jam, and a container of cookies.

The hotel was above expectations. Beautiful inner garden, we spent there a lot of time just sitting and drinking coffee, looking at different green plants. The rooms are very clean and fresh.

Hotel room was dirty, towels and bedding linens were soiled, room was noisy, barking dogs tied outback. No breakfast. Room was cheap- guess you get what you pay for.

Hotel close to good restaurants, Tequila distillar
The room was clean and adequate though small. The lighting in the room could be improved. with a table lamp with an LED bulb. The two double beds were comfortable and the staff were courtious, helpful and spoke English, though I was happy to practice my Spanish, with them. Like many mexican hotels, the rooms open imto a central courtyard. At times this can make for extra noise, with passersbys carrying on conversations. In the center of Tequila this small hotel is close to the Plaza, restaurants, shopping and two large distilleries which offer regular tours. I chose the Sauza tour, with a private English speaking guide. A very clean Pueblo Magico City, and not overrun by street dogs. The hotel is right next door to a hospital, which thank goodnes I didn't need to use.

Don't stay here.
Staff was rude. Couldn't accommodate me to my reservation so they put me in another room and then try to charge me for the extra bed which was their fault for not being able to accommodate me. Too noisy too early didn't enjoy my stay at all definitely don't recommend this hotel.
