“Not a better place to stay than this place in the Alentejo”

Herdade dos Barros is a superb place to relax, sightsee, and just enjoy the Alentejo. The host Rui is very kind and helpful to guests, and will go out of his way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast in the morning is outstanding, and the scenery around his place is extraordinary. Because Rui grew up in the surrounding region he knows the area very well, and was always ready to extend his expertise to any guest. I hope to return to Herdade dos Barros in the near future.
