"Handy location"
Good value-for-money. The location is great, as the hotel is conveniently located near the main train station (Roma Termini) and also a stop for the Hop-on/Hop-off bus and airport shuttle bus.

"Superb location"
Great hotel, very comfortable & excellent location near Rome Termini station. Very helpful staff with restaurant recommendations and guide to local attractions. We were upgraded to a superior room for our wedding anniversary which was a nice touch. Luxurious beds, bathrooms and spotlessly clean. Would definitely stay there again.

"Nice hotel! Very nice deluxe room!"
I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when we got to Rome, but I was EXTREMELY pleased with this hotel. (1) It's close to the Roma Termini Station. We arrived by train from Florence and it's just a short walk to get there. (2) Exceptional customer service provided by the staff. We arrived early in the morning well before our rooms were ready, but we had already planned out our day so that was not an issue. The staff welcomed us with smiles, checked us in, stored our luggage, gave us maps, answered all our questions, and even answered some not yet completely formed in our minds! Yes, they've been through this many times! (3) Wonderful Old World charm of our room. We had a deluxe room which was spacious and beautiful! Just be careful when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. It's elevated, so remember to step up going in and (obviously) step down coming out. (4) Good food near the hotel. There are several restaurants located within a couple of blocks. I loved everything about Hotel Canada and will plan to stay here again on my next vacation in Rome!

"Nice hotel"
This is a nice hotel, the gentleman who worked days was very pleasant and helpful...the guy on nights, not so much. The room was clean, but small. The internet was not working in the rooms, but we were still able to access the internet from the lobby.

"Cute, classy and quaint"
Hotel Diocleziano is in a great centralized location, the staff is exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The rooms are fine in terms of size and function, the beds/linens are not too comfy. The gym is fine, and the hotel as a whole is clean, kept really well and is run smoothly.

"An unbelievable experience overall."
We were so very lucky to have booked with this hotel. The hotel itself was incredible, the staff was professional, experienced with Americans and the food which was included at breakfast was the best! We even had a doorbell on our room.

"Get what you paid for!"
Checking in they put me in a medium priced room when I paid for the most expensive business exec room. As soon as I got in the room I knew they gave me the wrong room. I went back downstairs and told them I wanted the room I paid for. After some discussion they gave me the room but seemed as if they were doing me a favor. did they try and get away with something because I prepaid on expedia? Fortunately I looked at all the room pics, plus my room was to come with coffee maker and the walls were blue with a double seat sitting scenario where as all the other rooms are a different color with no coffee maker and one chair. Breakfast room and food on second floor was okay and came with room rate.

"Eclectic and Cool"
This was a great hotel. The staff was very kind, knowledgable, and helpful. For example, they talked me from Termini Station to the hotel via trolly. They were very patient with me. Also, I forgot my power converter and they borrowed me one. The hotel is decorated in a very eclectic style that adds to the fun of the stay - art deco meets contemporary shabby chic? This is a nice contrast when viewing ancient art and ruins all day. There were always fresh roses in the sitting room and flower varieties growing in the sweet little courtyard. There is an elevator/lift. The building is historical and quaint. I wanted a European feeling hotel on a budget and Emona did not disappoint! The hotel serves a great breakfast buffet. The buffet included fresh fruits, cheeses, meats, olives, cucumber, tomatoes, bread choices, pastries, eggs, bacon, juices, tea, coffee, yogurt and cereal choices. My room was a standard size for a European hotel and had a great little bathing tub. The toiletries are very nice, however the bed was somewhat hard. If they upgraded to higher thread count sheets this hotel would be almost perfect. Also, location was close to metro (underground subway), buses, and trolly cars for reaching tourist sites and other plazas.

Termini Central Station, Rome Hotel Guide

Rome’s central train station, Termini is the entry point to the city from Fiumicino Airport, and is an impressive modern architectural sight. Between here and glamorous Via Veneto, there are several interesting places to visit. The Palazzo Barberini is a superb baroque palace, the Terme di Diocleziano was the city’s largest bath complex and the Church of Santa Maria della Concezione is remarkable for its Capuchin monks’ crypt.
