Hotel Diocleziano is in a great centralized location, the staff is exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The rooms are fine in terms of size and function, the beds/linens are not too comfy. The gym is fine, and the hotel as a whole is clean, kept really well and is run smoothly.

"Lovely hotel very close to main railway terminal"
lovely clean hotel, check in a breeze very nice staff. Room was nice, spacious and clean. No safe where it should have been so bellboy brought us one up and put it in the space at the top of the fridge unit, it was obviously not anchored so could have just been picked up and carried out, but, no matter it was somewhere to put our papers etc. A/C needs activating from reception, but when requested did not work so they sent up same bellboy who wiggled the blades a bit and declared it broken. The room was at 27 degrees at this time so we asked if there was anything else they could do (maybe a fan) to which he promptly opened all the windows in the room. That'll cool it down, but I have a fear of flying insects so that was not an option. Sleeping was near impossible, but they did repair the unit next day. However, you still have to have it switched on by reception and the room never got below 24 degrees. The toothbrushes that the hotel supplied almost choked my husband as the bristles fell out as soon as you started brushing.
These small niggles aside, the hotel was lovely, it was in a great position, breakfast was good and we would probably stay here again if we return to Rome.

Had stayed here years ago and it was great. This time is wasn't. AC wasn't working(not even a little bit). I realize that is typical for Europe but this hotel has had good air in the past. If they had provided a fan,it would've been great! No fan. My husband had to get a towel cold and wet to wear around his neck to be comfortable...if only for a few minutes.

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when we got to Rome, but I was EXTREMELY pleased with this hotel.
(1) It's close to the Roma Termini Station. We arrived by train from Florence and it's just a short walk to get there. (2) Exceptional customer service provided by the staff. We arrived early in the morning well before our rooms were ready, but we had already planned out our day so that was not an issue. The staff welcomed us with smiles, checked us in, stored our luggage, gave us maps, answered all our questions, and even answered some not yet completely formed in our minds! Yes, they've been through this many times! (3) Wonderful Old World charm of our room. We had a deluxe room which was spacious and beautiful! Just be careful when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. It's elevated, so remember to step up going in and (obviously) step down coming out.
(4) Good food near the hotel. There are several restaurants located within a couple of blocks.
I loved everything about Hotel Canada and will plan to stay here again on my next vacation in Rome!

This is a nice hotel, the gentleman who worked days was very pleasant and helpful...the guy on nights, not so much. The room was clean, but small. The internet was not working in the rooms, but we were still able to access the internet from the lobby.

We were so very lucky to have booked with this hotel. The hotel itself was incredible, the staff was professional, experienced with Americans and the food which was included at breakfast was the best! We even had a doorbell on our room.

Rome’s central train station, Termini is the entry point to the city from Fiumicino Airport, and is an impressive modern architectural sight. Between here and glamorous Via Veneto, there are several interesting places to visit. The Palazzo Barberini is a superb baroque palace, the Terme di Diocleziano was the city’s largest bath complex and the Church of Santa Maria della Concezione is remarkable for its Capuchin monks’ crypt.
