Highly recommend staying here!
We loved this place! It was spacious, clean, quiet, newly remodeled, and very comfortable. Luis could not have been nicer or more helpful. There is parking available for$15/ night. Very convenient. Overall wonderful!

The room is very nice, clean and comfortable. The bed is very good you can sleep very well or night. The bath room is the best, water and shower is so comfortable. And the host is very nice and take care us a lot.

I can’t say enough about this property. From the moment I booked the reservation to the day of checkout I found Luis and Valentina to be gracious and warm hosts providing me with all the answers to the many questions I asked. We opted to pay 10 euro/night to park near the apartment which made it easy to get in and out. The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed including water, espresso and Coke! We loved the balcony surrounded by beautiful flowers. We only wish that we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Luis greeted us and helped us park and get settled. He was great. The property was a bit difficult to find. GPS isn’t helpful in the old cities. Great dining options and the Duomo is the major attraction. All within easy walks. Not very hilly.

Very comfortable and cozy place to stay. The place is kept very clean and it has a small but very lovely balcony for us to enjoy a quiet afternoon tea at. The location is wonderful: a quiet alley but close to everything. We absolutely ove it.

Great location ideal for light travelers. It is a walk up b and b but staff more than happy to help with bags. We stayed at top floor with low ceiling. If possible book for lower floor for better comfort.

Great spot in Orvieto
The location is perfect value for staying in Orvieto. Friendly service. Clean comfortable rooms. The only thing I didn't understand is that there was no breakfast this time. Last time we stayed there (albeit it was in the summer and there was a full house) there was a wonderful spread of food every morning in the kitchen area. Perhaps it was due to off-season. Plenty of food offerings nearby so it was not an issue.

Awesome Location
The location for this hotel is excellent! It's in the heart of the old city and the area is incredibly walkable. Our room was clean and quite comfortable. Louis greeting us warmly on our arrival and was helpful with directions the second time around when we got lost finding the tourist parking lot. That would be our only concern with our stay here, and that was parking. It is not available directly at the hotel, though they do have a private lot nearby for a charge. The tourist parking lot is easily within walking distance of the hotel and only cost 1 euro for 24 hours but it is not well marked and I felt we were somewhat discouraged from using it by not being given good directions when we first checked in. It's a small complaint in the overall visit but for people traveling with a car it's a concern.

If we wanted to discourged you to park in that parking we woudn't told you about it in the first place given that to arrive to us as you did , you passed by the entrance of the parking where there are 2 big signs that read "PARKING FOR TOURIST" in both directions , and surely we woulnd't take you on foot to show you the road that you need to take beacause quoting your driver " she didn't saw it as 2 lefts" even though we explained to you the first time. You prefer to make your own indications and that's out of our control. We never try to conceal any information that could help our guest and certanly we don't force our guests by any means to pay for the private parking , it's a service but more important is an option! , if you want it you pay it , if not ,nothing happens, no problem. To let you know more , that parking is not even ours and we don't make a profit , we book it for our guest that sometimes prefer comfort to cheap and far parkings.It's a choice. In the map that we give to all of our guests there are marked all the parkings available to the public in Orvieto. Hope to have you again as a guest!. Best regards,

Beware Attic Rooms
We stayed two nights. The first night we were put into an Attic room, which felt vey confined and small due to the sloping ceiling. This room was not as expected by the photos indicated on the website, so this was disappointing. Luckily, after discussion, Management was able to put us in a very nice suite on level 1, which made up for the previous night. If we had the second room for the two nights a top score would have been provided.

We wanted to said that there was no dicussion , we just needed to organize the rooms changes, given that the second night we gave you an studio with balcony and kitchen which is a superior room with a price completly different from the room you booked. In the pictures you can cleary see the type of ceiling we have in our triple rooms, we don't try to deceive our guests. But we are really sorry fo the discomfort this caused you. Gem in the city center
What a great place to stay! We have to small children and they had a pack n play set up for us in the room when we got there. Right in the city center. The room is spacious and had a small kitchenette. The staff is welcoming and helpful. They also had a safe parking spot for our car for a small fee. Highly recommend.

Friendly and welcoming
A charming hotel in a charming town. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities like a corkscrew and knife in the room so we could enjoy the local wine and cheese. The main streets of Orvieto are filled with day tourists during the day but mornings and evenings are quieter. Wandering the back streets we soon lost the crowds.

Great little gem!!
I really enjoyed my stay at Valentina’s. My room was very clean, cozy and comfortable. I could make tea and coffee in my room, and refrigerate any food so it was like having a small apartment in Orvieto. I loved it!! Valentina was very helpful when I needed help with taxis or directions etc. it’s also located very conveniently to the center of town but far enough away to be quiet. Perfect!! I will hopefully return some day. Thank you Valentina ♥️

Great place to stay and see Orvieto
This is a lovely apartment, very comfortable, great location, very clean. Host were very attentive, kind and ready to take care of our needs despite of the late hours. Luis and Valentina are very nice, helpful, knowledgeable of the area. Our stay was very good and we would recommend to stay at Affitacamera Valentina if you are going to Orvieto. Amazing place to visit.
We were fortunate, that we were able to park reasonable close by, but had decided we would only take in back packs, which was a smart move as there was no lift. As this was more a Pension than hotel we had a little trouble getting in. Host was welcoming and helpful and room very comfortable. Close to a lovely Piazza for meals. Nothing is far away in Orvieto, although driving in and out can be daunting.

A B & B well situated but difficult to find in a car. A particular problem is parking which, while available is frequently full in nearby lots and the manager was less than helpful in suggesting solutions. But for anyone without a car, Affittacamere is convenient and clean. Not for those with stairs issue

We stayed here one night and have to say that it was the most comfortable bed during our 14 nights of vacation! Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and bright. It was in a great location within Orvieto and it was quiet for sleeping at night. We arranged a special breakfast and it was brought on time and the selections were plentiful and fresh. Be aware that there are a number of stairs to climb if you are carrying luggage, but the hotel will gladly assist if you if requested.

Great Place!
Stayed in family studio room with balcony. Beautifully furnished room, everything you could need to prepare food, very clean, great shower. Terrace was small, 2 people, and if our neighbors were on the neighboring terrace, it would be like sitting together, but super charming overlooking rooftops and flower pots. Family was very nice and accommodating despite an error I made when I booked which they quickly accommodated at no extra cost. Orvieto is very special, one of our favorite spots.

Nice room and the price is right.
The room was very clean, updated, and comfortable. Luis spoke good English and was very accommodating. This hotel along with most of the hotels in Orvieto are quite a hike from the parking lots outside of town, so be prepared for an uphill bag-drag. We did it in 104 degree heat and were really glad the room had good A/C.

3 Nights in Orvieto
We stayed in Affittacamere Valentina for three nights and enjoyed the location and the area. My first advice - take the bus for $1.30 euros to Civita di Bagnoregio and spend a morning there (preferably before the afternoon heat!). Well worth the trip. We also enjoyed the live night time music on the weekends, the morning outdoor market on Thursday & Saturday, and exploring Orvieto and the views. If you are interested in a great dining experience, visit Le Grotte del Funaro, which is built into a cave and has windows that overlook the countryside below. Those are the positives. The hotel itself was decent with a few caveats - we were on our own for breakfast, the internet was spotty the first 24 hours until they provided us a separate device for our room, and even though we agreed to pay for laundry service ... there were some small issues that turned out okay but were unexpected. If you are looking for a quiet hotel in a nice location with a few frills, this would be a great fit.

This was a quaint hotel in a wonderful location.
Lovely accommodations! The staff was helpful and allowed us to keep our luggage in lobby so we could enjoy more of Orvieto. Room was quaint with a lovely balcony.
