Nice rooms, great rate!Posted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: The room was comfortable and clean.
Cons: Hot water, hallway carpeting, exterior.
Location: We were here for a softball tournament. Our room was half the price of our friends staying right across the road.
Front desk staff was above and beyond! I was traveling by myself with two children and she explained everything and told us exactly where to park and what door to go in to get right to our room. The overall appearance in the hallways and outside was a little rough but the room itself was very nice and clean inside. The outside door was not working and propped open with a rock. The carpets were stained and very worn. I was pleasantly suprised when we opened the door of our room and everything looked so nice! Hot water for showers was an issue and even though the hotel was pretty full it was disappointing to not have hot water in the morning or evening.

Dirty RoomPosted Apr 9, 2014
Our room was dirty. There was hair in the bathroom floor. The pillow cases had stains from the previous tenent. The room had a old musty odor to it. A bottle of febreese would go a long way to improve it. The outlets were missing the covers. The hotel was rundown looking and very unkept. The entire place smelled of smoke

Hotel conditions were not goodPosted Apr 9, 2014
Hotel had holes in wall with electrical wiring sticking out. No Hot Water, beds were horrible, and free breakfast was cold
Not up to standardsPosted Mar 24, 2014
The room was in bad need of carpet, the shower was dirty and moldy. The tile was coming up on the floor of the bathroom. Breakfast was minimal and had no fruit or bread. Had syrup out but nothing to put it on.

Attractive HotelPosted Mar 17, 2014
Cons: As we needed to leave a lite on in bathroom during nite due to 90 year old with me. We discovered lites only stay on limited time
Hotel was nice looking on outside and inside. Got to room and good size room but cold. Turned up heat and it turned off immediately. After several times it finely stayed on. Then wanted ice and found I had to go from our 3 rd floor room to lobby to get. Turned on TV and every channel was snowy. Called desk and was told they would check sateliet And they had new listing for channels. Offered to bring up to me. Desk people were were very kind and even offered to change our rooms. But as my cousin is 90 and hard to get around. Breakfast next morning was very nice and woman working was wonderful. Young man at desk was also very friendly.

Economy, close to shopping & eateries, but .....Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: Loved the staff!!! They did EVERYTHING they could, including providing a pricing adjustment to account for the issues.
Cons: Staff could check the functionality of all non-discretionary room needs ... like electricity, hot water, etc.
Hotel staff was VERY accommodating, given the circumstances. Our room was on the 3rd floor, apparently well away from the water heaters/boilers. We had no hot water for all but 5 minutes of our stay. Hotel condition appears to be in the process of renovation ... very needed.

comfortablePosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: location, staff, and comfortable bed
Cons: hot water for shower
Location: Mall, museums, college campus, concerts
Excellent location, but breakfast not quite as good as previous visit. Big problem with cold water in shower that did not warm after 15 minutes. We left without showers. Question if we stay again, but new manager apologized for sweatsuit (appeared as late for work or called in for problem).

Convenient stop over placePosted Dec 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was third time this Fall to stop here. It is the midst of updating its interior. The staff is professional and very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The room of the most recent stay (Dec.5) had all new bedding, carpeting, window covering, and walls painted. If we have the need, this will be our hotel of choice because of the staff and the convenience of restaurants, etc.
