Location: Terre Haute is a nice town with a good restaurant selection for those passing through.
Clean and convenient...having our dog with us was no problem whatsoever. Everything was as advertised.

It was exactly what we wanted. A place to stay for the night that allowed us to sleep and shower!!

Just okPosted Sep 20, 2013
Pros: Room was available when I needed it.
Cons: The decor was very dated. Bedding was worn.
Breakfast was the usual minimal. Rooms were clean but very outdated. Haven't seen a TV that large in 10 years. Really could use some updates. But for the price I shouldn't complain. Not nearly as nice as most hotels these days.

convenience locationPosted Sep 2, 2013
Cons: The breakfast was very disappointed. The muffins and donuts did not look/taste fresh; the coffee was very diluted. The fruits were at point of spoiled
We stayed 4 nights at Pear tree Inn. The room was ok for what we paid for. It's an "old' hotel in terms of facility. Everything seems to generate loud noise: the elevator door, the air condition, the shower head....The fan in the room was not working properly, which made the room really stuffy after shower.

Convenient and Cost effectivePosted Aug 21, 2013
Pros: Staff was reasonable and quick, in spite of Expedia's very slow confirmation process.
Cons: Funny noise, maybe slamming of a window, happening at odd times during night and morning. Though I did not take the time to complain.
Location: Right off the interstate 70. Vincennes is 1hr South.
Needed a place near I-70 just before heading south to Vincennes (1hr away). They were running $59.99 specials that day. No frills -- just the basics & clean! Thanks!

close to shoppingPosted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
The attendant at the front desk was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We stay at this hotel whenever we are visiting are kids. It's clean and the breakfast is nice. There are not the amenities of larger hotels such as swimming pool, refrigerator and microwave, but for a place to sleep it works for us. It is also close to the mall and many other shopping centers and several restaurants are within walking distance.
