a quick get awayPosted Feb 24, 2015
Pros: The staff and Jacuzzi suite.
Cons: only thing was my wife wanted to use elliptical in fitness room we couldn't get and machines on.
Location: this was just a place to get away for a night from stress and life.
We enjoyed the Jacuzzi suite so much we plan to come back in Oct over our anniversary for the weekend.Everyone was so nice and was clean I loved the breakfast. The staff even brought me a third pillow when they had asked if everything was ok i just mention i don't sleep well laying to flat. The third pillow really was a huge help.

Pictures don't tell the truth (maybe 20 yrs. ago)Posted Dec 4, 2014
Pros: They were willing to help out with the price of the room, considering his confirmation through Expedia failed to reach the hotel front desk.
Cons: Hotel needs updated, NOW!
Location: n/a he was driving through
Going on what my husband told me, he was the one who took the road trip from Penn. to Arizona. He was not happy with the room and the condition of the hotel in general.

Not a good motelPosted Nov 30, 2014
Cons: new carpeting, new beds, new everything...or just burn it down and start from scratch
Location: lots of shopping within 5 miles
We arrived for a one night stay, were given a top floor room. Went to it, one bed leaned downward. Asked for different room. Got one on first floor, both bed had worn out mattresses with springs sticking you. We just rolled all night long and left at 530AM. Could not really sleep with such horrible beds. Carpet was so dirty, I took a shower and walked from bathroom to bed in white socks, except socks turned brown in that 20 foot walk. Would not recommend this place to anyone. I always thought Clarion In was a decent place but not this time.

Worst hotel I have been in in years.Posted Nov 24, 2014
Pros: the only pleasant thing was the front desk clerk.
Cons: Everything about this place could be improved. The rooms could be clean, modernized. This place was disgusting.
Location: near interstate
When I checked in, the room smelled disgusting. I found old food stacked in a garbage can. The toilet was absolutely dirty. The front desk clerk, who was very nice, put me in a different room. This room was almost as equally disgusting. There was something nasty smeared on the shower wall. The chair in the room looked freshly stained. Furniture had old food stuck to it. The water in the shower was boiling hot and could not be adjusted to be made any cooler. The TV and WIFI both had terrible reception. The TV itself had to be from the 1990s. I stayed in a Clarion the night before in Bowling Green, KY. It was fantastic. This was a major disappointment. I will try to get my money back via Expedia. I travel frequently and will avoid all Clarion hotels in the future.

Dated, but good for short stayPosted Nov 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The rooms were a bit dated and worn, but otherwise clean. Price matched my expectations and was a fine hotel for one night. Staff was friendly.

Deplorable HotelPosted Nov 21, 2014
Dirty, torn carpet. Dirty tubs. They had no towels to provide our 3rd, 4th, and 5th guests in our room.

Priced high for what you getPosted Nov 20, 2014
Pros: The hotel was close to the mall, restaurants and the movie theater. Also only about 10-15 minutes from the ISU campus. The staff were kind.
Cons: Make sure the lights, toilets, phone and wireless are working. Make sure the rooms have all the linens.
We needed a place to stay overnight before an event at Indiana State University. Even though we set the thermostat for 70, the room never dropped below 80. The commode didn't flush without holding the lever down and stayed trickling for a long time afterward. Several lights and the room phone were broken. The shower curtain rod was also installed such that the curtain would slide to the middle and only cover the middle third of the shower. We asked to switch to another room, but the new room was cold and the heat didn't work well and there were no blankets on the beds. After weighing the pros and cons, we went back to the hot room. The wireless for the entire hotel was also not working. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is run down, but works for a cheap nights stay. If you're looking for much more than a roof over your head and a hot shower this might not be your hotel.
