Good value for the moneyPosted Aug 13, 2012
Suitably located for our purpose and exactly the quality we expected for the comparatively low rates. Air conditioning went out during first night but we got switched to different room in the morning immediately when we told the office about the malfunction.

Worst hotel stay everPosted Nov 8, 2011
It wasn't expedia's fault... but this hotel was absolutely disgusting. There were blood stains and holes in the sheets. It was mortifying. We cancelled the second night, it was so gross!!

Filthy nasty hotel, and you don't feel safe!Posted Nov 7, 2011
This hotel is one of the nastiest hotels I have ever seen. I f we had any chouice within a 100 mile radius, I would have left! We even had to "check out" a blow dryer as most of their guests steel them. GROSS!!

Terrible will not go backPosted Oct 3, 2011
This is one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. The room had a horrible odor of long time smoking abuse. . Pillows and linen did not smell fresh. Linens were very old, faded and dingy. Towels were very worn, thin and small. Phone in the room did not work. Poor customer service. There is not any special ammenities. Opened cabinet under the sink looking for a blow dryer and it was filthy. Spare blanket in the room was dirty. If we had an alternative we would have left immediately. My husband wanted to sleep in the truck as opposed to staying the room.

RUN!!! Don't even think about staying here!!!Posted Jun 8, 2010
The outside was hideous. Shady looking characters hanging over the balcony and in the parking lot. We were two female travelers only there for Canton's First Monday Trade days. The concrete staircase was cracked and moved when we walked up it. The room was dark as a dungeon. We couldn't even see to read a magazine. The bathroom faucets were on backwards. The only A/C was a window unit in thebathroom which wasn't even on, and it had been 96 degrees that day!! The fridge was also turned off. The a/c rattled and made loud noises. The bathtub had been painted, obviously trying to cover up filth, but when I turned on the water the paint started peeling off!! I also killed the largest roach I have ever seen in the bathroom. It was too late at night to move, but I called the front desk to see if I could cancel the 2nd night. The girl on the phone couldn't even speak enough English to have a conversation with me, she just said to talk to the girl coming in the next morning.! And, the "continental breakfast" is a joke. Don't bother. I didn't expect it to be much, but it was even worse than that!! NOT AMERICA"S BEST VALUE, NOT A VALUE AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't to go backPosted Jan 10, 2010
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and the room itself was great. But I must admit that the outside of the hotel was not the best. It didn't look as if it wasn't will kept up but once I got to my room I was suprise to have a nice bed, bathroom and the other items that was in the room. The only thing that I suggest is that there is a ironing board in each room and I do understand the reasong for giving a holding fee for the iron until it is returned but there was ironing board to use.

Surprisingly great stay!Posted Dec 17, 2009
My husband and I stayed here because we were going to the Canton First Monday Trade Days. We chose to stay in Terrell because the hotel prices are much less than what you find in Canton. This hotel was simple, not much has changed at it since it was first built, but that adds to the charm/character of the rooms. It reminded me of the hotels we would stay in when I was a kid going on family vacations. The room was very clean, heater worked well (it was very cold that night, in the lower 20s). We'd definitely stay there again.
