“A very satisfying experience.”

The worst comment I can make about the Crown Plaza at Terrigal is that we had to leave it to go home! A really professionally run hotel with, without exception, friendly and genuinely helpful staff who actually seemed to care about us, the guests. The in-hotel facilities are also of a high standard. As a first time experience for my wife and myself at this venue we can honestly say that it really exceeded our expectations - other venues certainly had not so we were somewhat cynical about what the Crown would offer. We needn't have worried! All we hope now is that our next visit (and there sure will be one) lives up to our first.

“Cant wait to be back again...”

Nice view. Good location and very clean. Room is spacious and well maintained. Close to cafes and restaurants. A good place to stay and have a relaxing weekend away from all. Cant wait to go back and have a nice weekend again!

“Well located very comfortable hotel.”

We booked a two queen bed with balcony room and found it very comfortable and quiet with nice views out onto the ocean. It rained most of the two days we were at Terrigal but the hotel is close to everything so this wasnt much of an inconvenience.

“Fantastic Stay!”

On check in we were upgraded which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was great and espresso coffee went down a treat. View was spectacular. Can’t wait to return!

“Enjoyable stay”

I enjoyed my stay, my husband and I had dinner at the Seasalt resteraunt, our meal was fantastic, we joined the Priority club and were given late check out at 1pm. The breakfast buffet was great!

“Overview”

Love that the rooms have been updated and refurbished, the outside of the hoteol could now be painted to match the lovely interior. Pool and spa are lovely. Seasalt degustation menu- savouries were fantastic, sweets were a real disappointment, who puts trifle on a $100 menu??? Overall, great hotal, great location!

“Needs improvement”

We were half an hour early for check-in and, as our room was not ready, the assistant night manager on duty said that she would phone. We received no such call. Our room was not fully made up as pillows did not have cases and were not on the bed (we realised this just before retiring unfortunately). With some exceptions service was half-hearted at best and surly at worst. Expedia gave us a great room rate but meals etc were not good value for money. Location, overlooking the beach, is great but Terrigal is a town where the beach front strip is in need of a facelift.
