“Honeymoon getaway”

Stayed there on our honey moon in one of the spa sweets and found it very pleasant, modern and and relaxing.It was located away from the hustle and bustle of tourists but still only 150m from the beach and shops.Will be back for sure

“Our Stay at the Sails.Terrigal”

We were there only overnight but I found it a pleasing time. Very pleasant, We had a wonderful sleep on the king sized bed.The room was quite and warm. Only bad side was that the TV was hard to turn on. We thought the batteries in the remote must have been flat. The bathroom was great and clean. The kitchenette was useful and was pleased to have the cereal packs there for us to use, which we did. Thank you for that. On our first look at our room it was very welcoming and had a restful feeling to it. The only reason I graded the quality of the staff as ok was I only had about 5 mins with the person on arrival and the desk was shut up the rest of our stay, but all in all she was polite and friendly..

“Terrigal Sails Apartments”

Neat and clean room. Quite spacious. Lovely touch of a basket full of spa products (beyond the normal bath gel) and a breakfast pack of cereal, milk and juice. All complimentary. Interesting that reception closes at 3pm on a weekend so after a day in town and then trying to get ready for a dinner function, to find no iron in the room and it was difficult to get hold of a duty manager. Still a lovely stay with walking proximity to the heart of Terrigal.

“Sails Terrigal”

The establishment itself is fairly basic but the rooms are lovely and spacious. The studio apartments do not have kitchens as such, just a microwave, bar fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Friendly, helpful staff.

“Good option”

The complex is older but the upkeep is good.the receptionist is lovely and welcoming.i arrived late and the keys were put aside for me with no hassle to me.

“Okay”

Well positioned, however, a bit old and run down. No view of the beach.

“Good for a mid-week getaway”

We went to Terrigal for a mid-week holiday. I thought the hotel was quite good and we had a pleasant experience. The staff are quite friendly and helpful. The hotel could improve its maintenance - the room wasn't as clean as we expected. The only other issue we had was when a tradesman decided to start drilling before 8 am which woke us up. Not ideal when you're on a holiday. But it was a minor issue and we had a good stay in general. PS - if you're looking for great views, etc, then this is not the place. Our room faced the car park.

“Not impressed”

We booked a one bedroom appartment with cooking facilities, but were told on check in that room was not available and were given a studio spa room which had a spa but no cooking facilities only a microwave and were told this was an upgrade. We weren't very happy with situation, but didn't want it to spoil our break. However, when we used the spa, the water in the spa turned brown and was full of rust. We complained. Spa was cleaned. Next day we had the same problem. For the price, we felt we could have done much better. Room was no larger than a motel room.
