Pros: The room and the setting
Cons: The quality of the restaurant food.
Room was excellent, staff vary capable, food awful. Sunday evening was limited to a carvery which was quite the worst meal I've been offered in a hotel in years. Breakfast not much better.

Pros: Its quiet location and easy walking distance from Tewkesbury
Cons: Still finalising refurbishment of large parts of the bedroom areas
Location: Tewkesbury Abbey, cruise on the River Avon. Lovely old buildings in town.
We enjoyed our stay. Very good breakfast! Lovely views over the Vale of Evesham and the Hotel Golf Course

Very understanding management staffPosted Jul 14, 2015
We booked two nights on the non refundable rate. Our car broke down and we could not make it on the first night so we rang to let the hotel know. We fully expected to loose the first nights payment. The manageress however on listening to our story was kind enough to refund the first nights money anyway. We were very pleased and grateful for their understanding. Well done.

Stayed for 4 nights for work purposes. Beautiful place to wake up with the room overlooking the golf course.

Hotel was nice and convenientPosted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: having the leisure facilities -
Cons: The hotel really could do with being refurbished, particulary the Pool/changing areas, was clean, but very dated and look grubby in places.
Location: very closed to town,
Hotel was lovely, but could do with a bit of updating/refurbishment, our room was, I understand was recently refurbished, and was very comfortable, really enjoyed the coffee and sandwiches we have in the Green bar, enjoyed a lovely swim and time in the steam room.

One night awayPosted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Close to family, lots of parking, swimming pool.
Cons: I went to breakfast at 0955 and it finished at 1030, lots of the items had run out and I had to ask...water, butter, bread, plain yogurts, some fruits
Location: Very pleasant country side and views, near my family. Tewkesbury .
Just needed a bed for the night whilst visiting relatives. Refurbed room with huge king size comfy bed. Strange mismatched double head board!!! Nice carpet, curtains, furniture. Well appointed, kettle, hairdryer, iron and board, bathroom bits. Towels were fine. Bathroom tiles were a bit odd....some of the bathroom fittings needed a deep clean. ONly 1 bedside lamp so had to un plug the dressing table lamp for my side of the bed..... Great value for money.
