Hilton Garden Inn Texarkana

Front desk personnel were not friendly and really seemed apathetic. However, everything else was fantastic!!

This hotel was wonderful in every way.

In all the Internet information and on the hotel's in room guide, an indoor pool was advertised. There is no indoor pool and never has been one. There is an out door pool that's closed through the winter months.

Modern decor. Nice mini-fridge in room. Clean, soft towels.

This is a great new hotel. The room was very comfortable and had a large shower rather than the usual tub/shower combo. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the ladies at the front counter were very pleasant. The convention center is attached and therefor the price is a little higher than comparable hotels but since this hotel and nice and new it is worth the premium.

We had a great night at this hotel. Close to the highway, mall & restaurants. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Will definately stay there again.

New hotel next to the Convention Center and across from the Mall. It has sort of a mod garden theme with some interesting decor choices. I just stayed over a weekend in a suite. Overall it was acceptable, but not outstanding. Pros - Roomy, comfortable setup in good, clean condition; Fairly comfortable bed (pillows too soft for my taste), Decent but not spectacular water pressure, Bath & Body Works and Neutrogena toiletries are tolerable; Many easy to reach plugs and lights available, Two huge flatscreen TVs in room; Room service was delicious, generous portions, and reasonably priced. Cons - Fridge made a horribly loud rattle after I was in the room a couple of hours, had to turn off; thermostat seemed way off - I could swear it was saying it was at least 5 degrees hotter than it really was and it was not kicking out heat very well at all, never could get the room warm enough; Soundproofing was significantly better overall than at the Candlewood next door, but I did hear some kind of fairly loud nonstop hum (maybe from the heating system both inside and outside?), and either housekeeping, construction, or guests were making a lot of occasional hella loud knocking or hammering sounds that came through the walls throughout Sunday morning (just the morning, from about 8 to noon?) when I was trying to sleep in a little, though otherwise it was quiet. I would have liked a way to close off the bedroom from the rest of the room.

This hotel is a surprise for Texarkana, very tastefully decorated and great staff. Quiet by the mall, probably need to keep the bar open a bit longer consistently if there are customers. I was the only there at the time. The breakfast was good a little slow in service but friendly. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Scott S.
