Overpriced, seller's market.

Understaffed and overpriced. This is at best a $60 hotel. We paid $190. That's a rip. Horrible processed food for breakfast.

Good place near the casinos

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: good breakfast, more than just continental.
Location: Close to casino with casino shuttle right outside the door.
Room wasn't available when we arrived early. So they suggested nearby restaurant to eat while we waited about 40 minutes. The restaurant was great. People bent over backward to make us comfortable, and get us what we needed. I'd highly recommend. Pool was ok. Exercise facility was a couple machines. We didn't use them, but they all looked like they worked. For a one night stay, this was a great choice.

Cons: There was an odor in our room not sure what it was.
Breakfast was great. Had waffles both days, the hostess in the Breakfast room was great. She made the waffles for you and was very friendly.

Credit Card Process

Posted Mar 30, 2014
Pros: Great shuttle service.
Cons: WiFi, it was inconsistent.
Location: Great Casino next door to property.
Clerk wanted to photocopy my Visa, photocopy my picture ID, as well as enter my 3 digit number from the back of my CC "in the system". I paid cash instead and inquired in the morning about my concerns. Mgr told me it was corporate policy. I will never stay at a Best Western property again for that reason. I got no problem showing ID to clerk, but not photocopying? Not a chance.

Really nice hotel but an alarm went off and on at 3am in the morning. Could not reach front desk and that morning they had no answers as to why alarm went off.

Excellent Stay

Posted Jan 28, 2014
We stay at Best Western about four or five times a year, we have allways enjoyed our stay, and the 24 hour shuttle to Winstar is great. I only have one gripe that I will discuss with the property manager when I return.

Best Western Red River Inn & Suites - Winstar

Posted Jan 21, 2014
Pros: The convenience of the shuttle that takes you back and forth to the casino. I didn't have to move my car during my whole stay & it came regularly.
Cons: Better signage and directions to the hotel. It was kind of hard to find in the dark and I easily passed it up because I couldn't find the street.
Location: Winstar World Casino, Gainesville Outlet Mall, Ardmore Zoo, etc.
The hotel was very nice & clean upon entering. The hotel staff was nice & extremely helpful. The room was set up nicely & the temperature was perfect. One of the closet doors was stuck & had to be opened a certain way, but that was not too much of a big deal for me. The first night we unfortunately had some plumbing issues & our toilet would not flush properly but after telling the hotel staff the next morning, they immediately went up to fix it. When the toilet wouldn't flush again, they immediately sent up the maintenance guy to unclog the toilet again, which then began to work properly again. The continental breakfast was great! Everything was fresh & hot even though the eggs were powdered (I could just be picky). Housekeeping came by around 11 am & did not return again I'm guessing because we told them we didn't need anything. I found it weird that the water had a greasy feeling to it but I'm guessing that is normal to the residents of Oklahoma because no one else complained about it. Despite the few negatives I listed, the experience was good and I would actually stay their again.
