LifesaverPosted Jul 8, 2015
Location: Main Street, near restaurants, movie theater, and major routes.
I live in Eastern MA and visit my grandmother in North Adams a few times per year. Regrettably, she enjoys keeping her house at 97 degrees all year round, so I regularly get ill whenever I spend a weekend there. Thank goodness for the Holiday Inn, as I've started spending the overnights in its rooms instead of the old guest bedroom. The staff are very polite and charming, and the facilities are overall quite accommodating. The hot tub and sauna rooms are a great plus, though the pool itself is a bit heavy on the chlorine. Solid recommendation.

One of the best hotels in the areaPosted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: The central location, convenient to Williamstown.
Cons: Bathroom door should swing out to make the small bathroom more useable.
Location: Williamstown attractions: college, The Clark Institute, summer theater.
Most of the hotels in the Berkshires are actually motels and most of them look dated. This is one of the more decent looking ones, it is conveniently located in downtown North Adams close to may of the attractions in the Berkshires. The room and beds were very spacious although the bathroom was a little bit small in contrast.

Closest decent place we could find for BenningtonPosted Jun 8, 2015
I had to rebook a hotel at the last minute for daughter's college graduation in Bennington. Although it's a full 30 minute drive, it was so pleasant that we didn't mind. The hotel was slightly better than your usual Holiday Inn and the staff were very welcoming and nice. We had room service several times after busy days and the breakfast downstairs was fairly good. All and all I would recommend this hotel. Town is very sleepy, that's for sure but pleaant.

Nice hotel.Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Walking distance to everything in town.
Cons: Keep the hot tub to only those over 16. Fix the airhockey table.
Fast check in. Comfortable and clean room. Restaurant was closed for a function, which was a little annoying. However we walked to an area Mexican restaurant and had a great meal there!

Avoid Hockey WeekendPosted Mar 24, 2015 on Hotels
Overall it was a nice hotel. HOWEVER, the walls are paper thin. And we happened to be there on what the staff referred to as Hockey Weekend. The people in the room next to us were there to party. We called down to the desk twice to complain. The staff did respond but it did not solve the problem. The third time I went down to the lobby to request a new room. Changing rooms at 2 am took away from our restful romantic weekend. And the staffs response of this is how Hockey Weekend always is- really wasn't a good answer.
