“Can't Beat it For the Money”

I have always preferred luxury hotels, but now that I'm unemployed they are not an option and needed a room for 5 days. I chose HJ based on price and location. The accommodations and service exceeded my expectations. This hotel is clean, updated, convenient and economical if you are on a budget or just prefer not to spend a fortune on a hotel. They serve a nice continental breakfast in the morning, offer a coffee maker, microwave and nice small refrigerator in the room...what more do you need? The non-smoking rooms are all upstairs and are true "not been smoked in rooms."

“A Comfortable Stay”

We spent 2 nights here. The place was full, but remained quiet. Out king room was spacious and very nice bed was comfortable & room was clean. Our room was larger than the typical Howard johnson, allowing us to spread out and have room to get ready for the wedding we were attending nearby. I recommend this property and would stay here again if in the area. All appliances worked.

“Good clean hotel, friendly and honest staff”

Hotel was clean, breakfast was more than just continental, staff was very friendly. My boyfriend left a few pieces of clothing behind by accident, we called the hotel that night when we got home, and by the following morning had a call from the manager saying they had found our things and would UPS them to us (I provided a credit card number to pay for the shipping). Overall very happy with my stay, and would definitely stay there again.

“Clean Spacious Room for Family Vacation”

We were in Non Smoking Two Queen Beds which was Nice,spacious,Clean at least 4-5 member family can stay in this room. Bed was Comfortable,Bathroom was Clean also Shower with Hot water was working...... Internet was really Wi-Fi High Speed....because We saw movie online. Management maintained good Property. Front Desk Manager gave me Tex-Mex Restaurant Coupon ....Restaurant food was awesome. It was perfect place for Holidays... See you on JULY 4 Weekend.......

Unlike many hotels in the area there are several restaurants in the area. Hotel in somewhat small. Desk clerk was helpful and pleasant. Hotel was underated

We enjoyed talking to the manager - he was very helpful. The rooms were very clean and up to date. The fact that there was a refrigerator, coffee pot and refrigerator in the room made for a VERY pleasant stay. Highly recommend this place!

“Nice hotel, lovely town.”

Stayed at here for two nights while attending a wedding at the Edith Wharton estates. This hotel was really nice. Everything was clean, there was a continental breakfast in the morning, the bathroom was more than adequate. Couldn't ask for more from a basic hotel.

““Good place to stay in the berkshires””

My husband and I spent three nights at the HOJO for a quick getaway in Sept and found the place to be clean, comfortable and well kept.the motel is not fancy or extravagant but it is a good alternative if you don't want to stay in hotels or expensive B&Bs. The rate includes a decent continental breakfast. It was a fantastic choice. The hotel was very, very busy as there was a wedding nearby that most of the hotel guests went to, but the hotel was quiet at night and we didn't even notice when other hotel guests came back at night. The Inn is located in central Berkshires so easy access to nearby towns such as Stockbridge, Lenox and others. We would stay here again.

We we pleasantly surprised at the quality and size of the room! Nice pillows, updated furnishings, nice shower/bathroom, plenty of towels. Very clean. Nice & roomy!
