“VERY AFFORDABLE-FRIENDLY STAFF”

CONVENT LOCATION - ROOM WAS CLEAN-VERY AFFORDABLE-DECENT BREAKFAST-STAFF WENT OUT OF THERE WAY TO HELP US-I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE AND WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN-

“Not what I expected”

The first room we were given had stained sheets and blankets on one bed. The manager was very apologetic and did give us a new room which was much cleaner. I had been expecting a more updated hotel. Will not stay there again.

“HoJo Express - Don't”

Paper thin walls allowed us to hear our neighbor's phone conversations at 1am and the group of drunks who arrived at midnight. While the sheets and towels were clean, there were stains on the floor, etc. It was, however, in an easy to find, convenient spot, the internet worked fine, and the property was relatively inexpensive. However, you get what you pay for. We would never use a Howard Johnson's Express again.

“Can't Beat it For the Money”

I have always preferred luxury hotels, but now that I'm unemployed they are not an option and needed a room for 5 days. I chose HJ based on price and location. The accommodations and service exceeded my expectations. This hotel is clean, updated, convenient and economical if you are on a budget or just prefer not to spend a fortune on a hotel. They serve a nice continental breakfast in the morning, offer a coffee maker, microwave and nice small refrigerator in the room...what more do you need? The non-smoking rooms are all upstairs and are true "not been smoked in rooms."

“Okay for 1 night”

The hotel was reasonably priced, located close to Lenox center. The room could have been cleaner, bathroom needs some improvements. Breakfast was bland, forgettable. It was okay for one night for the price.

“A Comfortable Stay”

We spent 2 nights here. The place was full, but remained quiet. Out king room was spacious and very nice bed was comfortable & room was clean. Our room was larger than the typical Howard johnson, allowing us to spread out and have room to get ready for the wedding we were attending nearby. I recommend this property and would stay here again if in the area. All appliances worked.

“Good clean hotel, friendly and honest staff”

Hotel was clean, breakfast was more than just continental, staff was very friendly. My boyfriend left a few pieces of clothing behind by accident, we called the hotel that night when we got home, and by the following morning had a call from the manager saying they had found our things and would UPS them to us (I provided a credit card number to pay for the shipping). Overall very happy with my stay, and would definitely stay there again.

“VERY clean and neat!”

This hotel was extremely clean, the beds were very good. We requested a extra bed and it was in our room all made up for us. The man in the office was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was an extra bonus! We would definitly stay there again!

Area recommendations
Stockbridge was a charming town to walk around.

“Best Place to stay in Lenox”

Pleasant surprise. Clean, comfortable, affordable. Can't think of one thing to complain about! :) Nice amenities for a country escape. Great staff while we were there. Overall an excellent hotel!, Very clean and light bedroom. It was a pleasure to stay there.
