“Don't want to go back”

The hotel don't even have air-conditioner. You need to open the window all the time next to very noisy and busy street. At least the hotel managment agreed to let us change the hotel next door, Howard Johnson. Save us a day.

“Available, inexpensive and easy to find”

Staff waited for me, I was a very late arrival. Shower did not drain properly in room 10. All else was fine, being tired after a day of travel the room was quiet and completely adequate.

“Needs to be updated”

The beds were comfotable. The rest of the hotel needs to be updated. Bathrooms were clean but worn out. The doors were not secure when not in the room. The continental breakfast wasn't.

“Great fall vacation”

The place was clean, quiet, and the staff was friendly. However, I called a week prior to our vacation and was told the continental breakfast was coffee, orange juice, muffins and cereal. What we got was cereal, coffee, and some sort of orange drink that was NOT orange juice. Also, the ice machine was broken. We enjoyed our vacation and would return to the hotel but I would bring my own breakfast food.......

“Satisfied and would return.”

Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and easily accessable. Only thing would have liked better is carpet held an odor that was unidentifiable but seemed to subside after room was opened up. Friendly staff and was able to take pet which is hard to find.

“Stay here if you know the area.”

I was very pleased with the manager's willingness to wait check me in at 11:30 at night. y room was on the end of the motel (easily accessible); although I had to park 70 feet from my room. The room was warm, which I appreciated since it was cool outside. It had a refrigerator, plenty of hot water and was peaceful. The TV was a 19" and the remote did not work well. . There were a couple dozen channels. I did used the air conditioner, which did not cool the room. At 9AM, I finished off the last two muffins and 8oz. orange juice. I asked the manager for directions, but he didn't seem to understand my questions. The price was great and the accommodations were all that I needed for a good nights rest and to get going in the morning.

“Last resort”

The motel is a small, old building on the outskirts of Lenox (on way to Pittsfield). Only plus was the price. The rooms are clean but old and have some odor. Services are just for check in. There was no one at the reception when we checked out at 7:00 AM and no place to drop the keys. There is breakfast that is served at 8:00 but since we left early, I can't comment on it's quality and value. For a one night, inexpensive stay it was about OK.

“sleep cheap”

old motel with antiseptic smell on the main drag reasonably clean, walk to food and drink , nice folks its a great money saver if your not the fussy type i'll be back
