Great New England B&B in western Mass!Posted Apr 6, 2015
Location: Great food in Lenox and Pittsfield, theatre in Great Barrington, and the Normal Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, among other things to do.
We had a wonderful stay! We visited on Easter weekend (during the off-season in western mass), and our room was upgraded from a queen to a king free of charge. The staff was extremely helpful - they arranged dinner reservations, and were extremely flexible with check-in and check-out. Also - the breakfast was scrumptious!

Beautiful!Posted Mar 3, 2015
Stayed here while in town for a wedding. The room was just beautiful. Very nice being able to control the temperature for the room as it was below freezing outside! Breakfast was homemade by the innkeeper and delicious. Much better than staying at a random hotel!

A visit to the Norman Rockwell MuseumPosted Nov 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
The House and our room were very comfortable, and John, the innkeeper was very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. We wished we could have spent more time in the cozy parlor, reading from the inviting book collection. We will be back.

The room was clean, cozy, and warm. Bedding was luxurious and the perfect end to a crisp fall night. Breakfast was delicious and relaxing. Overall, this was a great place to spend the night.

WonderfulPosted Nov 3, 2014
I would definitely recommend this quaint and comfortable country like Inn. The owners were very helpful with brochures and suggestions. Breakfast of stuffed French toast was amazing and everything was immaculate. The location was great. I can't say enough good about The White Horse Inn... Many thanks to John and his wife

Warm and welcoming from time we arrived until departure. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great homemade breakfasts provided daily. Would return again, without hesitation.

The house was quite clean, but noises from other rooms could be heard clearly. The bathroom was postage stamp! I think they tried to maximize guest rooms past possibility. Two people could not have been in the bathroom at the same time and it was difficult even to turn around. The bed was fine, comfort was good. The host was excellent and very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was great.

Gracious 1904 home with a more than gracious host, John. The room was comfortable and cozy, the sitting rooms lovely; tea, cookies and fruit always available. Recommendations about places to visit and restaurants to frequent were spot on.

Clean, Quiet and ComfortablePosted Oct 17, 2014
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: It was in Pittsfield, Mass. It was easy to get to on a main thoroughfare. The Norman Rockwell Museum was less than 30 minutes away.
We were there on a weekday, so there was only one other guest. The proprietor was unobtrusive yet welcoming, congenial, and very helpful in recommending a couple of good restaurants to choose from for supper. The room and the whole establishment were very clean and comfortable, very nicely furnished and decorated and provided everything we needed. We had a very good dinner, a peaceful and restful night's sleep and a tasty breakfast. We wee very happy with this establishment in all respects.
